Excellent stay and accommodations. - Room services and house keeping up to the Markcade [ clean and hygienic ] - Sumptuous food and hospitality [ Special mention to Chef Sajal and his team for taking bottomline responsibility ] - Overall as a team they stood for the name ‘Sterling’ [ Mr. Pratheesh - thanks for a wonderful welcome and for ensuring comfy arrangements taken care at the site ]

This hotel is a good place to stay. Room, although good, was much smaller than shown in photos at time of booking which was a disappointment. Staff is courteous and efficient. Food is amazing and not overpriced. Their signature dish Sigari Masala Rice is worth a try. Bar is very good and their locally influenced cocktails like Rasam Martini, mulled wine, Margarita etc. are superb. Spa though surprisingly small for a property of this size, is manned by exceptionally good staff and is a definite plus point. Gym is a waste and is there only for name sake. The location, though scenic, doesn't have any scope for walks. Access to property is a challenge and directions are poor. All in all, a good experience. Worth a repeat visit.

We had stayed in the family suite and enjoyed a nice view of the city from our rooms. Though the rooms have started to show their age now, it is still well maintained. The breakfast and dinner buffet were quite good and there is not much to complain about. The hotel has ample parking space for the guests. The indoor kids play area and facility was good and our 2 year toddler had a jolly time.

I visited and stayed in Sterling Elk Hill Ooty from 27th 30th Mar 2022. The hotel is located at a very nice location on the hill. The staff is very polite and helpful. They made sure my stay was comfortable and relaxing. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Special Thanks for Banu for making our stay more delightful than expected.
