Hotel Taj Resorts

The hotel is situated just a walking distance from Taj Mahal. The hotel is a great place to stay with nice rooms and very good breakfast spread. It also has a unique in-house shop for best of marble work and sprees. The staff is very courteous, genuine and helpful. I forgot my jacket there, they restored it in the breakfast area and sent me the same via courier without even bearing the charges. Overall...a great place to stay.

Enjoyed stay in taj resorts with glamorous view of iconic taj from their roof top. Room was comfortable with all amenities required for stay. Excellent services and good hospitality by all staff. Property is definitely recommended and will definitely stay again if i am back to agra

Hotel is very good and amazing. very near to taj mahal, good rooms.Amazing place to live. We really liked the hotel. very near to taj mahal, walkable for taj mahal. roof top dinning is very amazing but more mosquitoes as it is night time and no proper care taken for mosquitoes'. Food is good. The bed was quite comfortable and the washroom was clean. The USP of Taj Resorts is its awesome Taj view Deck at the terrace where you can view Taj Mahal while having your meals at the rooftop restaurant. We were lucky to be staying here when the famous Taj Mahotsav was being celebrated which was at walking distance from the hotel. Room service is immaculate and the service time is quick enough. But few hiccup's are - Morning break fast buffet is not good, kitchen is very dirty and cannot even imagine how bad it is. Hot water will not be that much hot, Late checkout convenience is not given. for that we happened to wait in the lobby for almost 2 hours to travel to railway station. One more thing is every one need to keep in mind is if you are travelling during taj Mahotsav the police near by will block the road for taj mahotsav from morning till evening and will not allow you to travel with a vehicle. hence all my family with small children need to walk down all the way to hotel which is around 1.5 km's away from entrance of taj mahotsav area with small children and luggage. Rest all are very good. Everything is very near and we can enjoy the purpose of the visit.

Agra is synonymous with Taj Mahal or you can say Taj Mahal is synonymous with Agra. Any trip to Agra is incomplete without paying a visit to Taj Mahal. And if you get to stay at a place which is stone’s throw away from the Taj, it becomes an icing on the cake. We were fortunate to stay in Hotel Taj Resorts which is just 500 metres away from Taj East Gate entry. A nice property with spacious rooms, a rooftop restaurant and swimming pool and unmatched hospitality. The check in at front desk was super quick through Sunil Ji and we were escorted to our room in no time. The room was good with a large King size bed which easily accommodated us 4 people. The room overlooked the beautifully crafted lane leading to Taj which gets illuminated at night lending it more fervour. The bed was quite comfortable and the washroom was clean. However couple of things which can be improved : a) Breakfast spread needs to be spruced up. We were surprised to see Fruit Juice missing in the spread even in summer b) Toilet linen needs overhaul. The towels looked worn and need replacement. Otherwise it is an awesome property to stay in Agra particularly if you wish to stay near Taj Mahal. Tip : Lane looking rooms are quite good with nice view and ample sunshine but since there is quite traffic of Taj Mahal visitors, it gets noisy sometimes.

Google rating about this hotel is fake & it's not even a 3 star property. Everything is just basic & breakfast spread is even below that. Pool was in bad shape & it's 5 ft deep throughout, which is strange for families with kids. Not recommend for families!!
