Cama Hotel, built way back in 1960, also offers its guests various luxury facilities including a travel desk (which offers ticketing and sightseeing arrangements), a swimming pool, a gym and even a liquor shop.
The lawns are well-manicured and there is free parking available. But the hotel is most appreciated for its good location while the Sidi Saiyad Mosque is less than a kilometre away, Sabarmati Ashram and the Kite Museum are also close-by. As for dining, head to La Vista for a multi-cuisine experience with beautiful river views, panelled walls and a sandstone fireplace.
