Warmth Lake Heaven

We enjoyed the stay at Warmth Lake Heven resort. It was really nice. Staff were so friendly and was always there for any assistance. Also the resort offers a complementary boat ride for the guests. Food, ambiance everything was good, really enjoyed it. I recommend this place to everyone. I took the lake view balcony room and it was really good

Never were we so pampered almost to the extent of ownership although our stay at Warmth Lake Haven Resort, Alleppey, was only for two nights and three days, during the first week of this month! Beginning with the regal pick up from Alleppey Railway station, the 20-minute cab-ride through Kerala’ Kuttanad granary punctuated by backwaters, boats and bridges, we were floored at the natural beauty upon arrival at this sprawling, green and truly warm premises of this exotic resort. The stay is made incredibly memorable in the villas deeply set in lush green ambience, beautiful back waters, house-boats all around, tree-top, heritage and water-front villas. The scenic beauty of the location and backdrop kept us clicking picture after picture, chilling away from the hustle and bustle, perfect for a getaway with family and friends. We chose to board the (daytime) house boat avoiding overnight stay. The houseboat arrived right at the resort which was extremely convenient as we did not have to travel out to get to the boat. The houseboat experience was rich with traditional & exquisite Keralite cuisine meals served on the deck (lunch and snacks). The quality and versatility of the spread available are again incredible for the variety and taste. The buffet breakfast which comes on the house provides a super jump-start to the awakening all of one’s culinary senses👌! We loved the iddli, Dosa, with chutney and sambhar, the channa battura, eggs, fresh grits n juices for breakfast and were teased further with delicious allepey prep fish curry, mushroom masala, chicken curry and phulka during lunch & dinner😊! The daily breakfast menu had interesting variations and is sure to surprise and pamper anyone, whatever one’s age!!And, the icing on the cake was the competitiveness of the pricing followed both for the Stay and the food👌👌Special mention is deserved by the staff and management who were very pleasurably interactive, courteous and receptive to our needs as inmates on holiday! and made sure that our needs are taken care of at every point.

Its good property but sighted ignorance on maintenance. Feel may be due to covid, at the same time observed sight of renevotion. Boat Trip provided is enjoyable. Rooms are good, but overall observed lack of maintenance. Food quality can be improved.

We are 2 families and have stayed in this property on 8th Apr in Heritage Rooms . I am forced to write this review just because of the Manager "Rajesh Phanikar's" behavior and attitude towards the guests. An arrogant and a high attitude person who is not approachable for any concerns at all and neither possesses any qualities of being a manager. While I raised about his unresponsiveness and don’t care attitude, he started screaming and shouting towards us (guests), and claims to have 18 years of experience and he doesn’t need any training from anybody. Moreover he is asking us to go check the reviews, such is his behavior towards the guests. I have many concerns to list here but all I am trying to do with this review is to bring this to the notice of the management as no one would expect such a gesture from a manager who claims to have 18 years of experience. I think Rajesh (Manager) is definitely a setback for this property and would doubt if he (Rajesh) has really learnt in his 18 years' experience that guests are to be treated with utmost respect in the hospitality industry.

This property has a good location but it's quite a task to get here. The road is narrow and not paved. Essentially you are cut off from the town and are confined to the resort. Our room was spacious with a good view of the backwaters. The bathroom though was dimly lit and there was a foul odour during our stay. The food was great, although they don't serve alcohol. They offer a complimentary boat ride in the backwaters which was nice. Overall, we didn't think the resort was worth the premium price paid.
