I recently stayed at the Taj Swarna hotel in Amritsar. It's a very nice modern style hotel, the interior, dining area, and the pool are gorgeous. The food is good with plenty of regional and international choices, the staff are friendly and helpful. There were a few traditional musicians playing in the lobby in the evening or morning. The spa area looked very nice though I did not use it, as I'm not a spa lover. The room was neat, and clean. The surrounding view, at least on the pool side isn't great and it's just a tall concrete building. Overall I would stay there again if ever in Amritsar.

It was wonderful stay at Taj Swarna and hospitality extended by the hotel staff is really appreciable. The staff is polite and put every effort tom make your stay comfortable. Will defiantly going to visit once again and stay with them.

The Hotel provides all basic amenities, and maintains a high level of cleanliness but somehow does not give the ambience of a Taj Group property. The Staff was seen in worn out clothes with hemlines undone, the Lobby too small and over crowded, the menu in the Chinese Restaurant was very limited. The staff was trying its best to be brisk and very professional, but it seemed as if the Hotel was understaffed to take on the rush of Guests during the long weekend of my visit.

Very slow service. Most of the time the staff forgot to get things, be it in the breakfast area or the room. Even our check out took a lot of time after multiple calls. Chaotic and staff seemed confused. On the contrary, the lounge staff was very courteous though and took great care of us. They had decent liquor collection in the lounge and sumptuous snacks during the cocktail hours. Pool facilities were fantastic and the lady in the spa reception area was very helpful. Rooms are good and so is the hotel amenities. My issue is only with the staff although they were never rude at any point and were always courteous and also got us the tube for our younger one. Just that it seemed pretty new to the overall process.

The stay and rest everything was amazing. I was pissed off by the service of F&B staff during the breakfast. Apart from that 10/10 to the hotel for rest all the services. Staff was too busy in something i dont know.
