Visited to celebrate 31stdec bad experience. 3 degree temp but hotel doesn’t have heater not even by paying extra. Rooms are smelly and small too. Caretaker nd manager Manisha and Ankit/Ankush doesn’t remember exactly has no customer handling. Given breakfast but they denied while check in, Saw 4-5 complaints from my own eyes. Don’t waste money and special celebrations bcz of them

Hotel the queen was part of my 70,000Rs - 8 night accommodation package through India Tourism and Services @ Scindia House Janpath.
I checked in at hotel the queen at 11pm only to find the room had not been serviced from the previous day.
There was no towel ad the bed had a filthy sheet which was ripped and stained- the stain appeared wet.
No alternative room was available and the room room service was only completed just before 2AM- I flipped the matress myself and I slept in my sleeping bag.
Breakfast was a choice of chi, bread, japati and a hot dish I couldnt recognize. Given the general lack of cleanliness - room, cutlery and crockry I decided to eat off the street.
My experience highlights the potential problems of buying travel PACKAGES.
