The Royal Court Bhimtal

It was a really nice experience while staying at Royal Court by Ananta, Bhimtal. All the staff there was friendly and helpful. Room services and ambience was excellent. Food was also excellent. Special mention Mr Kamal , the Reception Manager, he rocked in providing comfortable experience to customers. Hope to visit again. My rating 5 out of 5.

We reached hotel in the afternoon. Our rooms were cleaned and we were provided the keys within 15 minutes. Rooms were neat and clean but geyser was not working so we had to use clod water for that evening. Even TV was not working as set up box had some issues. Balcony view was awesome from that room. Next morning they opened another room for us to use the washroom then later we were shifted in the same room. But here there was no privacy in balcony also the view was not that great. Food was awesome 5 stars for the same. Hotel staff was very helpful and polite. If you take family suite then it is awesome choice as infrastructure is very good. Overall good hotel with good food. No problem for parking as they have ample space for it. Would recommend this hotel to everyone specially for families.

First, its NOT a 4srar. Nowhere close to being a 4 star. Good: Staff is friendly and courteous. Food was good, breakfast was fine as well. Bad: Its nowhere close to being a 4 star. I paid 7,000 per night for the basic room, it was pretty much like a room one can get for 2,000. Add another 500 for balcony but not a penny more. Last guest from the room forgot their sweet box in the room and housekeeping din't bother removing it. Dj played in lawn until 11PM on Saturday night private party while our room was lawn facing, the noise from dj dint let us do anything as we couldn't sleep, couldn't work and couldn't watch tv either). No proper parking space. Small television. A/C works fine in day, at night voltage fluctuates and a/c keeps turning on and off and there's not much we could think of doing at midnight when this happens so either we could have tried to sleep or tried to get it sorted which i doubt would happen as it would have just screwed the night. Blankets are for winters, use them to sweat or don't use them to suffer with cold. A/C freezes the room when its blower works, when it doesn't works it will turn the room a hot cake. NO, A/c temperature was out of control even when i tried to set it at 16 degrees Location is nice, away from crowded places. But yes, its not worth a penny more than 3,000/night. Don't go by star rating, its only self claimed 4 star, quality of everything can be as bad as you can imagine, probably a 2 star should suffice.

The most hopeless property i have ever visited. Inspite of calling many time for getting the room ready, the room was very dirty, no dusting was being done. It took them next 50 minutes to clean the room. Breakfast spread is very less. There is no option of ordering Ala-carte in dinner. There is no view from hotel. Pure wastage of time and money.

Avoid as it is not in Nanital, no view. Poor maintenance. Not for seasoned travellers. Basic amenities missing over priced. About 15 km from Nanital nothing interesting around it . Food is basic no trained chef does not deserve a 4 star rated
