FabHotel Pentagon

I stayed in this Hotel from 8th Feb to 10th Feb 2020 on my visit to BBSR to attend a marriage. The rooms were comfortable but the service was very slow and unprofessional. I traveled by my self driven car from Kolkata , parking was very cramp and entrance and exit was from a narrow lane. Location of the hotel is good and at a very convenient central location. Food quality is very basic. Once again let me emphasize that the service is just pathetic.

We had booked two deluxe rooms after looking photoes at fab. But we were disappointed when they provide us other sub standard rooms. Both rooms washrooms have locks out of order. Dressing room light not working. Wash rooms of rooms given to us are very small, having no bathtub, but it was specified in fab site at time of booking. Further hotel staff say we could not give to rooms that you had booked having bath tub. So very bad experience Don't book rooms They cheat outsideguests.

Pathetic experience. The staff at Pentagon admitted that they are having a disagreement with FabHotels so they won't allow us to check in (we and several other guests including senior citizens were there, all having paid for the whole stay in full and in advance). They leveraged the plight of the consumer and forced us to cancel the booking and pay them directly. They were not helping to do this as well, telling us to search for FabHotel customer care number ourselves and then started raising their own issue with Fab on my phone call. Hilariously infuriating. Even FabHotels shoulders the blame on this one, as they knew about the dispute much in advance and still didn't contact us to tell us about the non availability of our room. This might be a 1-time experience for me, but shows you all where their priorities lie when it comes to how they treat their guests. Other stuff: Food and service: 2.5/5. Not value for money at all Ambience: 2/5. Shady. Would not bring my family here no matter how cheap the rooms are. Cleanliness: 3/5

FabHotels = Total Scam! They just want your money! Booked a suite room for 3 friends but was denied check-in. They said the hotel policy allows unrelated couples but not 3 persons & want them to be in a relationship! Customer care is useless; kept me on phone for more than 1 hr. to split my booking into 2 rooms & pay extra 800! The rooms & surroundings were hardly clean; the towels had stain marks all over them! The staff are generally rude & the place is completely mismanaged. Be careful with the front-desk people as they unnecessarily browse through pages of your passport when given as local ID proof. Better pay a little extra somewhere else & get better facilites than this scam from Fabhotels.
