    We stayed for a day while coming back from Shimla. The location is really nice just walking distance from sector 17 market. The rooms are spacious with balcony. All basic toiletries are provided. Also electric kettle and water bottle is provided. The service is also good. Only the washroom needs a bit more maintenance. It is clean but the walls look old and damp. Coming to the buffet breakfast, it is a good spread. It has variety and is tasty.

    a hotel frozen in time with the service to match.the only saving grace is the excellent location.The people in the restaurant want to know as to why you want a fresh omelette even when a dozen os are already made and kept.some serious rethinking for t he attitude and the hotel is in need of a serious makeover.grossly overpriced for the value for money proposition.

    We stayed there for a night while transiting from Theog / Shimla to Mumbai via Chandigarh. I have stayed here earlier, so the lack of upkeep was even more appalling. To start with, the airconditioning was not working. When I complained, the technician came in and found that there was so much dust on the filter that it was completely choked. Most of the plug points were broken or non functional. We had to connect our phones with the points available in the bathroom. The doors / windows would not shut properly - as a result when there was a storm / rain, the door kept on banging incessantly. I think it is just a question of being able to maintain the hotel properly. It is well located in Sector 17, which is still the hub of all activities - so has a lot of potential.

    Especially food is useless le chef. The paneer kofta was like a rubber ball, aloo dum kashmiri was anything except allu dum. The food and menu sense of chef is pathetic. The salt in manchurian was too high. Manchurian gravy was too thick. The dryfruit in kheer was stale and I believe of lowest grade.

    Old Property. Food quality very good. All staff members are very greedy. Guards , house keeping staff are always hungry for tip. Parking is always a problem because they have big party hall on ground floor which is always booked so you may face parking issue. Rooms are ok, but old property. Zero star for washroom. Very old style washrooms
