This place is definitely far from the beach. It is so nice though, close to the airport, immaculate, , very stable WiFi, and wonderful service. For the price point, it is the best hotel I've been to in India and I've been to many hotels in Mumbai and Kolkata. This by far, is the cleanest and most accommodating. I got in at 21:00 and couldn't find a cab to take me here. After reaching out to the hotel, they sent an Ola to come pick me up after 30 minutes of trying on my own. The breakfasts are so good! My favorites are the Pongal and Vada and the Idly and Vada. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!

I had a 7 hours layover in Chennai so I needed a place for a quiet rest. Booked Royal Green viaArmy can Booking.com a few hours before arrival in Chennai. Chose it because of its proximity and reasonable price. The hotel staff were very helpful on phone and booked an Uber for airport pick up. As the taxi lurched on the narrow bumpy road and kept turning left and right following the GPS directions I wondered if I had made the right choice. I wasn’t sure about the neighborhood. Finally, the taxi stopped in front of a row of shops and the hotel staff led me up a narrow flight of steps. Royal Green is a misleadingly grand name for a row of rooms facing each other on a narrow corridor on the first floor of a tiny establishment. The plus point of the place are its staff! Check in quick. They explained that the place caters mostly to back packers in transit. The room was clean and functional. They helped me order a quick meal via Uber. I got my few hours of rest. They called another Uber for airport drop and thus ended my Royal Green stay! I recommend this for back packers transiting for a few hours.

The airport shuttle service is great(pick up & drop off both of them was great) Any time you come and go, you will have perfect pick up and drop off service from to airport. Really helpful. 2. Wifi is really fast and stable. 3. Really clean. I can't say this is a new hotel, but this hotel is really clean hotel. You can see the shining floor, mirror and toilet. Sheets are clean. There's no dust, anywhere even under the bed. Cleanest hotel. 4. ATM in 1st floor. 5. Manager and staff are very kind and helpful. He helped me to book an Ola taxi , helped me to buy a sim card and recommand a good indian restaurant. Always help me with big smile. 6. Good place to know outskirt of Chennai. Bad 1. Water was not that warm. 2. Not many things around as a sightseeing. There's some bad things, but I think good things are all cover and more. I recommand you to stay here. Especially, when you come and leave Chennai.

Nothing special, a decent, clean enough place to spend the night near the airport. Next time I would pay a little more and get a better place though. I didn't realise my room was non a/c and they wanted an extra Rs 300 to turn on the A/C in 40 degree heat!

空港への迎え（有料）があるので、依頼したら「We definitely will be there in airport at the exit lane holding a sign with the name ・・・」という返事が来たので、信用したが迎えは来ていなかった。空港から宿に電話すると、15分で迎えに来ると言ったが、結局30分経っても現れず、タクシーで行った。部屋はダブルを予約していたが、シングルの部屋に案内され、同じ料金を取ろうとしたが、しつこくクレームし、一部をしぶしぶ返金させた。悪意のある宿としか言いようがない。周囲の環境も悪く、飛行機の音もうるさいので、空港から近いと言ってもおススめできない。
