Great staff all around! Right from the checkin hostess to Rohit in the restaurant Cappuccino. Got upgraded to a deluxe room as an IHG Gold member. Loved the design, space, cleanliness. The location is great for business traveler’s too. Will definitely be the first choice for all future stays!
An Absolute Must-Stay when visiting Chennai..!!!

I've stayed at the Crowne Plaza on two occasions in 2022 (in January and April)...and I was accompanied by family on both occasions. The consensus across the entire family is that both our stays here were totally worth it. The Crowne Plaza is a fantastic property that has a great location in the heart of the city and is close to the airport and major shopping and entertainment hubs. The hotel has a very charming and welcoming ambience, and the rooms at the hotel are clean, comfortable and packed with useful amenities and facilities that are practical and easy to use. What I loved the most about the hotel is its staff - right from the front desk / reception to the concierge to the bell boys to the housekeeping staff to the travel desk to the restaurant staff, every staff member was courteous, polite, well-trained, efficient, hospitable, helpful and always served us with a smile on their faces. The food selection at the restaurants, although a tad limited, was pretty decent and always tasted delicious. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay on both occasions and we will definitely be coming back here every time we visit Chennai...Keep up the good work Crowne Plaza...!!!

I have been staying at the crowne regularly since December 2021, and every visit has been exceptional. The service at the capuccino restaurant for breakfast is simply the best! Please reach out to a rock star called Rohit Kumar, who will make sure that you are well taken care of. The quality of the food, and the variety there is amazing. All in all a great property and brilliant service, with a personal touch!

*We had pleasant 4 nights stay in the lovely hotel. The restaurant Cappuccino is a must visit , Rohit the star and popular waiter at cappuccino pampers every guest with lovely breakfast every morning. We had guest for lunch chef Manpreet gave Personel attention and prepared excellent meal for our guests. The buffet dinner at Residency restaurant has good variety of food . The highlight of Residency is live singer Ms Hmai who entertains guests with her mesmerising English songs. We wish to thank Ms. Barsha and Chef. Gobu at residency restitution. On the whole we had a memorable stay.*^
Everything stinks here... So prepare to stink

This hotel is simply awful. It is old, super noisy, the rooms stinks a lot because all the humidity and the stink remains in the room. You can't have a good night sleep because of the stink and the noise... And because the bed feels wet due to humidity. The room has never been vacumped... Or if it has it wasn't done properly. When I arrived I found a hair pin on the floor from someone who previously stayed there.... It remained there for the entire week that I stayed there. The bed linens are all with stains and often they have black dust on them as probably they have touched the floor or other not clean areas. It is one of the worst hotels that I have ever stayed at! It is definitely not a 5 star hotel and not adequate for European standards
