We were bowled over by the warm hospitality and the premium lunch that was served on the occasion of Easter .We enjoyed everything that the buffet offered, from the welcome drink to the desserts . Felt it to be a bespoke array of dishes that was totally in consonance with Easter mood. We tried almost the whole spread and felt it to be sumptuous and lipsmacking, except for maybe the vegetarian dishes. A special thanks to the chef. The service was of top notch quality, so was the Live music.

I have been a customer of Olive downtown since 2019. That's where I met Soy Jose who was the front office manager. A very professional and well mannered gentlemen. They've always provided me with fantastic service and looked after all my needs. The service was amazing and I've always frequented the hotel many a times even though Soy has moved on. On the 18th of February 2021, I decided to go for a drink and dinner. Unfortunately, I had a stroke. I remember the staff taking me to the hospital right away, before I lost my complete consciousness. I would like to thank each and every member of the staff for saving my life. The couple of names and faces I remember before losing total consciousness are Robish Varkey, Bradley Bibin and Visakh Sen. Gentlemen , Thank you. I am pretty sure that there were couple more staff involved .Thank you to each and everyone of you . Olive Downtown , Thank you once again for saving my life. Thank you.

Extremely helpful staff is the plus point. Solved many of my problems and issues with dedication and concern. I am very very thankful. Though the hotel has average facilities and has ill- equipped small rooms it’s location is also a plus point .

Olive Downtown is a tie-up for Club Mahindra. It is a simple and basic place. Check in at 4pm was easy though we saw a few other guests struggling. One person was agitated as he was waiting since noon. Housekeeping services in the hotel are a challenge. We visited the reception to get a small towel etc which they had missed to provide. We visited the restaurant on the 10th floor but were not too happy with what we saw. We headed out for dinner. We found a really nice place barely 500 metres away. The name of the place - Famous Caribbean Barbecue (FCB). Strongly recommend you visit FCB for lunch or dinner. We had the most amazing soups (mushroom), salads and pasta. A really nice ambiance and good food. Enjoyed it all.
