Excellent service provided by Madikeri Heritage staffs. Good and neat rooms. Safe place to stay. Worth for money. Genuine and patient staff. Very helpful and friendly nature to all our enquiries. Surely recommend to stay here.

Excellent hospitality from front office. Good room service and sanitation. Transportation facilities are hassle free. Food is good too. Location is at the centre of town and helps to travel to any place away. All this at reasonable price.

Hotel was good but staff was not well versed with hospitality just some this like asking gust to help with luggage, not cleaning rooms after repeated request ect. But overall good place to stay if you are not staying for long. Food quality could be much better.

We did not want to deviate from the main market to take care of our specific food requirement (read Jain food) and so we chose Madikeri Heritage. The hotel name is visible from the main junction, however, it is not easily locatable as the entry is from a back road down the hill. We booked a superior room for 3 nights as we really wanted to relax. While we were escorted to the room, the ally was really narrow and dimly lit and the room had an old-style latch and lock. As soon as we entered the room we were very depressed with the overall look and feel. It was dimly lit and the furniture looked very very old and the linen was yellowish with torn pillow cover. The bathroom door was broken from the bottom due to rusty wood. The false ceiling on top of the bed was making it look like half constructed ceiling. There was no fan in the room and the only AC at the corner, which had missing flaps, was blowing air directly on our head when we lie on the bed. The room had 2 windows, one of them opening towards a construction site and the other would open towards a Masjid where there was a constant flow of worshippers. This means you can neither open the window nor the curtains. The entire room was very suffocating. There were couple of cockroaches in the room welcoming us whole-heartedly. There were no hangers and we had to ask for it. We immediately requested the receptionist to change the room. As the similar room was not available, the receptionist offered a premium room which would cost us Rs. 1800 extra per night. After a lot of discussion and requests, we decided to take that premium room. The entire experience already spoilt our mood and we decided to cut down our stay to 2 nights (and hence we did not have to pay anything extra for the premium room) in Madikeri and booked a room immediately in Mangalore. The premium room had 1 double bed and 1 single bed, and the linen were way cleaner. However, the table fan was full of dust which I am sure was not cleaned for at least 10 days. The shower was placed so close to the cloth shelf that it requires special talent to enjoy the shower. The breakfast and dinner were complimentary but we took only breakfast and had dinner elsewhere. The breakfast menu was limited and the taste was average. The hotel parking is insufficient and you will struggle to take out your car in the morning and evening time. All the staffs at the reception were co-operative and at no point we got into an argument mode. Please avoid this hotel.

Its 2nd day of my staying..this room has full of mosquitoes same i infomed to receptionist..they responded after 5th call and finally sent a all out.. The Maintaince is same like lodges even lodges provide better service..
