The Capitol Village Resort

We had a great stay at this beautiful place, we stayed for 3 days. The staff is hospitable, the rooms comfortable and Lovely restaurant covered in the shade of lots of trees.The bathrooms were spotless clean. The food was delicious and service was amazing.

I m so glad to have discovered this heavenly place!It is surrounded by greenery all around.You wake up to the beautiful chirping of birds and if u love bird watching, then this the place to stay at. We got see some unusual bird with long tails and were lucky enough to hear the whistling thrush! The staff is very cooperative and polite.Dev was very helpful in guiding us at every step.Thank you, Dev.We even got to visit his coffee plantations.We have wonderful memories of this place!

The property is built around a coffee estate and also has a small beautiful lake. The rooms were clean and spacious having valley view.(true to pictures online) The food was lip smacking and special mention to chef Vinay for accommodating all our requests. I would highly recommended this property if you wanna be in the wilderness. PS: Pork dishes and mutton biriyani is a must try

It is about 5 km away from Madikeri, completely isolated and peaceful place in the lap of nature. It is spread over acres and has a beautiful lake inside the property. Don’t forget to take the estate walk. It has very scenic surroundings. It is cosy and comfortable but not luxurious at all. The rooms and bathrooms are basic but decent.The staff Sandeep, Balakrishna and Vinay are very cooperative. If luxuriant not your priority, you will enjoy your stay.

Had very quiet refreshing stay. It's a quiet place, a small private Coffee Estate located on the outskirts of Coorg. No disturbances at all. . Rooms are basic but airy & with valley view. The estate is full of trees and coffee plants and green all around. There is a lake also. Many birds can be seen around. Special mention to Manager Dinesh, staff member Dharma & the chef Vinay for their hospitality and warm nature. Dinesh was very helpful, welcoming and organised local taxi for sightseeing as well as a drop for us to Mangalore airport. Dharma, who was present almost 24*7, taking our requests for morning tea/coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and whatever else we ordered. Chef Vinay was enthusiastic to prepare dishes of our choice, even veg preparations in Coorg which is non-veg dominated. . We had a pleasure of coffee estate visit one evening with the owner Devayya himself who enthusiastically took us to his other estate/property as well. would recommend this place for staying in the lap of nature.
