Great accomodation, very friendly staff, separate toilets and washrooms and storage for keeping belongings. R J resort is the ideal place for any backpackers who loves to chill out. Would love to go back.

The hotel location and ambience is excellent. My visit was extremely satisfying as the staff was very good. The quality of the food and room service was wonderful. Would definitely visit again and recommend everyone for their stay in darjeeling.

The most important thing for me during a vacation stay is comfort & cleanliness. Since we had a really bad experience with one of the hotels, so we had to change our hotel at the last minute. The hotel staff was very warm and courteous, especially Binay. My mother fell down from the stairs during sightseeing. He was courteous enough to come to the room and check, and readily made hot water bags available as per our request. The room was ok in space, ok enough for two people. The room was without a view, but since we were out the entire day, it didn’t really bother us. The cleanliness was okay. The bed linen and towels were just okay. Hot water was available throughout. Since we wanted to have something local, we informed them in the morning for our dinner meal. They agreed to make it, and the food was great and fresh. Overall the stay was good and comfortable, proved to be value for money.

5 star for the location. Very nice property in terms of Decor & feel. The issue arises with their bathrooms - very small and very old. Views are mostly limited to high floor rooms, that is also not clear views - there are buildings. But the worst thing that we faced was that they had allowed an event when we were staying of a large group. Item Songs with high volume was played till 10:30 and a lot of noise was made after that as well. They didn't put any restrictions which l found to be very disappointing as it totally destroyed the decorum of the hotel.

Very congusted , no hot water even after complaints, no good food, ni wifi connectivity in room Not upto the mark , looking at the room and previous travel experience in Gangtok and Pelling this hotel should be 2 star
