It was a quite nice experience staying at Jewel of the east - restro & spa. Rooms are well decorated & clean. Most importantly the washroom is awesome & provided with all the facilities along with hair driar also & very clean indeed. Moreover staffs are very cooperative & well mannered. Overall it was a very nice experience staying at this hotel, would love to visit again !

It was nice clean, and skilled staff, Location is excellent adjacent to MG Road. Thay arranged my trip in cheaper rate compared to other agents. Breakfast can be improved. Food quality is nice. Overall a very good experience.

Apart from the Location, it is not even worth considering. Bed - Not Comfortable Geyser - Not Working in 1 Out of 2 Rooms Health Faucet - Zero Pressure Valley View - Fake Promise. No View of Valley from Hotel Food - Below Average and Costly Like Hell Staff - We had to call for 6 Hours for Just Water. Room Service - Pathetic Reception Response of Complaint - Just Forget about It Room Cleaning - Don't even bother to Clean or Change Your Bed sheet Bed - Not at All Comfortable by any standards Heater - No Heater in Room Just Avoid It.

Its not Jewel of the East..Its a Junk of the East we ever stays in gangtok. Reception Sleeping Time 11:30 pm till 8am.So please dont disturb them. No room service number if you have issues with your bedsheet or blanket. Room Paints are never maintained as its like dharamshalas. Handles are broken in bathroom.Shower pin is loose and not working. No Mineral Water Bottles in hotel instead they will give you one Milton Jar for 5 litres so that you dont ask for mineral water. In short as i dont waste more time to review this hotel as it only 1 pro thats its 2min from MG Marg. Please dont book this hotel if you really looking for 3 star basic services.

Very poor service. Pathetic staff. This is by far my worst experience in a hotel. Very unprofessional and literally the worst staff and management. These guys are very very selfish and they have all rooms of same standard still they categorise their room and there is no difference between the standard if the rooms
