very nice hotel and when asked for a heater we got one which helped a lot as it was very cold there in March. The only drawback was that you could not walk to see the city, but had to take a shared taxi each time you wanted to see the city. This was not a big deal as the food was very delicious at the hotel Many times we could not find anyone at the reception desk but had to go and search for someone.

I am a solo Traveller a tour operator had booked a hotel somewhere near the market, basically iam a peace lover the market area was very crowded and noisy, I looked around and then I found this place it's really out of blue a hidden shangrila, neat and hyenege the owner was very welcoming I was welcomed by khadas a local silk scarf ,the view from the room is really awesome,it's really a must visit place,

While searching for the budget hotels in Sikkim's capital, we came across this comfortable place named the Griffons's nest, which is around 3 kms from the happening M G Road and situated in chandmari. This place is situated en route Nathula Pass and Changu lake. As the location is uphill from the main city, the view you get from the hotel is worthwhile. Rooms are comfortable and affordable with the staff service just a call away. If you don't want to go out for food, you can get good food here too. Taxi is available to the city as it is the only mode of transport to go around (walking is another option), though, in the late hours after 7:30 pm or so, the taxi will charge you thrice the rate to reach here. All in all good hotel to stay at and you can get the idea of other places to explore from the staff here, they are really helpful.

It's located 5 minutes drive from Ganesh Tok on the road and a breathtaking view. The room that we were in was spacious & clean and the room service was on the spot. The owner & the staff are polite courteous. They have an awesome chef, prepares good food and always ready to help with anything be it cabs, restaurants or the places to visit, he will give you all the information without misguiding you.
