My experience Abt this hotel is awsum .. We stayed there for 7 days . The hotel provided us the best services .The foods were just fantastic and served hot and without any delay . Staffs and their behaviour was very nice and prompt .. rooms were spacious and cozy, view from window is just breathtaking, u can see sunrise from the middle of the mountains . it has a proximity to MG road that means the main market is just 10 minutes away . and the manager Mr.Samik Mukherjee is really very handsome. I think if u want to visit Gangtok u can definitely think about hotel Royal plaza for ur stay and believe me u will be 100% satisfied . I was just waiting for the trip to over so that I can write the review …

It was great experience. I am travel Agent from Kanpur my company name Holiday Planner. I am travel with group and again 2021 April covid second wave but when I reached there I am feeling relax to see the good facility for safety. Group feel nice and food quality also good and staff is also very good. When I feel GM of hotel Mahesh sir I feel good that he Handel the group at this Pandemic Period that how he Handel the Property. He take every needful equipment. Thanks for successful group

Had a lovely time. The staff was very helpful warm and accommodating. The food was good. Plus easy to get a can to MG road to explore the other eateries. The rooms as clean. Toilet clean. Hot water is available for 5 hours in the morning and evening at given time slots. Happy staff equals happy stay.

Nice hotel ,staff is very caring ,food is good ,service is very good ,we had a comfortable stay in this hotel .worth visiting .The manager is very cooperative .The Royal plaza understand cater you as per your requirements.

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. Here are our comments on the hotel. Good things: 1. Rooms are spacious and cosy. Reasons why I say that the hotel still seem to be under maintenance are: 1. Room door locks were not functioning properly. Got the keys and access card both. Despite that there were issue in locking the door. 2. Intercom was not working. A mobile no. was given to contact reception and it used to take multiple attempts to reach to reception for any requirement. 3. Bathrooms in the room had blinds which were not not properly maintained. 4. Breakfast was just okay. Not many options. 5. Location of the hotel is bit far from the main tourist places in the city. Though ropeway is nearby. 6. Wifi was hardly available in the rooms. Did not had a good connectivity. 7. if you ask for water, it is treated as a "Welcome drink". Upon arrival at late evening, we asked for lukewarm water and tea. Got the water and upon checking for tea, we were informed since you asked for water, they treated as a welcome drink. Overall, just average property.
