For years I wanted to stay for a night at Mangaal farm. Finally with friends we decided, took our scooters from Agonda and arrived. Place is amazing, sooo quiet, well kept, nicely decorated and run by smiling, warm people. Rooms are super clean, and the price includes buffet for breakfast, lunch, dinner. We had dinner around the fire, they cooked fish wrapped inside a banana leaf, really yummy. There is swimming pool, free to go anytime. Many activities around, visit the farm, nearby temples, drive for 20 min and walk to two waterfalls and/or to the rock carvings. I wish I had enough time to stay more nights. See you soon, guys.

A lovely stay in Mangal homestay nestled in the wilderness ah! even though is just off the main road..the house with view of only nature and encircled with only lush green plants n flowers.. ..landed here after a great day of a peek into Goa's pre historic trail.. one nite does no justice..to njoy Mangal... Every part of the house is meticulously detailed with artifacts .. 5 rooms only are very comfortable , only one with twin beds , openish dining area surrounded with collection of plants also available for sale.. Spring water swimming pool , more of a splash pool good to cool off n spend some time... awesome cuisine ..made from farm fresh exotic vegetables..cherry tomatoes, kale, baby spinach, ajwain, gerkins.. etc We were a group of 11 of us..the caretaker an excellent polite woman can cook a meal of 10 delicious dishes with farm fresh veg , fish barbecue included in one hour for a group .

I absolutely love maangal farmstay! My husband booked this gorgeous farmstay for my 60th birthday.. It was the best birthday treat ever. We came with my in laws who also just loved it too. It's now our special family getaway. Jaywant perfect host, along with lovely staff and the wonderful food. Rooms were beautiful, decor perfect. The cats and lowly their dog, all made it feel like home! The natural spring water pool just bliss. Cannot fault this place it's my second home! We will be back in March.

Mangal Farmstay is about 55 kms from Margaon station. Lovely drive on smooth Goan roads takes you to this place which is really a beautiful resort in the arms of nature. The Goan part of western ghats ,this is an amazing place so green even in the summer, you will be surprised. We drove to this place just exploring the place enjoying the beautiful forest that’s on either side of road. On way you see the ‘Tank of Bubble ‘ ( Budbudyache Tale) a natures miracle, which gives out bubbles every few seconds. I have seen these upteen no of times but still amazes me. This is truly a Farmstay and should not be mistaken for a resort. If you come and stay here you start realising what we all miss in cities. A calm serene place, where you can either just sit and forget the world around you or if you are exploring type , take a guide and walk in the forest around you. The farm is full of surprises, I could find many fruits which I had not seen before. And I consider myself a good student of Goan nature and world traveler. Swimming pool is getting chilled water from mountain spring. I have not seen cleaner water or swimming pool. No chlorine. There is a caretaker lady and few staff who are very hospitable and great cooks. They use all vegetables grown in the farm without fertiliser or pesticides. They presented really tasty healthy food in a very short time. If you make sure you keep the word Hotel or Resort out of your mind , you will really enjoy this superb cradle in nature.

It's about 90mins drive from Margao. Try to reach in day light, of course big board display is there to guide you. No WiFi, no cell phone connection. Very Good staff. Good rooms. Excellent nature surrounding. Food is good but there is scope for improvement.
