The Grand Leoney Resort

This place is very beautiful, relaxed and comfortable. The property is very good. The cottages are also good. They have a very good spread of property with swimming pool, spacious parking etc. The hospitality is of top quality. Good to spend time with family and friends at this place on a trip to goa. Keep it up guys. Kudos to the team 😊

we had gone here as a group of friends.. and had found this place by chance ... luck by chance shall i say...the place looks and feels exactly as the photos look. the rooms were clean and yet not ostentatious enough for you to not want to leave the room... comfortable and yet not opulent. the pool was amazing , and the service near the pool was fantastic. we landed in goa at about 3;30 am and i must admit that the check in was thoroughly professional courteous , and very very smooth. the people at the reception counter were very nice and helped us hire bikes and cars at a reasonable cost. its very close to the beach , perhaps a five minute walk , and hence one could go and take an early morning walk with impunity...the food was decent but nothing to write home about .. a friend who plays snooker advises to stay away from the snooker table

Its a beautiful property with nice cottage rooms (we booked this category rooms). The cottages are well maintained and the common areas are also nicely maintained. The AC in the rooms were working properly (except for 1 room) and bathrooms were good as well. The swimming pool was operational and was good. They have a very small restaurant but very nicely managed by Mr Pratap, Mr Prabhakar, and Ashish who ensured that we had nice breakfast everyday during our stay. The service staff were helpful. Some difficulties we faced. The property has a very small parking place, which means the cars are stacked one after another and if you are in a hurry and need to take out your car, its challenge. However we had a really bad check-in experience, which was made worst by the lady at the checkin counter. She kept arguing unnecessarily, and tried to wriggle out of their obligation to provide us the right bed types that we had booked through Agoda, mentioning various factors like, we checked-in late, it was not assured by the property and so on. After driving for 15 hours, she made us to stand there for 30 minutes unnecessarily. Later on they resolved the bed issue by moving us to some other cottages the next day...which she could have also said at the beginning instead of arguing and making our check-in experience a horrible one. Vagator beach is a small walk from the property, but we found the beach to be dirty and unkept as compared to other beaches. The Chapora fort is around 850 meters from the property and we found it to be really beautiful during the sunset time. Overall barring the check-in experience and small parking issues, we had a wonderful time at the property.

The services were not as per the price we paid. The basic accessories were only provided when asked. With such a price there was no complimentary breakfast also. Also for every room service they were charging 10 Rs.

Never judge the book by its cover This stand true for THE GRAND LEONY RESORT Its says grand. Its GRAND-LY HORRIBLE from the inside. Service people are horrible. Only two people are nice One aunty at the reception short lady. And MR ZULU a server kind and sweet person. Rest all are untrained and act as if they are doing you a favour. We chose Premium rooms and what we got was ABSOLUTELY SUB-STANDARD Our room AC was not working in scorching heat of March 2022 We adjusted for 2 days. They kept saying it will get ok. Finally I had to lose my temper and yet they said why was I getting upset. Worst experience in Goa ever. Please dont book this nightmare of a resort. Only Looks good from the outside But inside its a horrible experience There is no common area. There is no lawn area with shade No place in shade to sit by the poolside either.
