Mayem Lake View

Beautiful lake with a well developed place for the tourists with facilities for boating and Bungee jumping. The facilities are closed on Tuesdays. Surprisingly there is no signage indicating Tuesday closure.

Arriving towards the hotel the Lake was on the left, with the most beautiful view. The hotel Reception were friendly, and polite. After registering in, we slowly walked to our room a semi detached bungalow style room towards the edge of the lake. The room was spacious with an en suite bathroom. Simplicity in the decor and furniture but pleasing to the eye. Luckily we paid extra for A/C. On Opening the room door onto the balcony we had the most glorious scenic views of the Lake with the small paddle boats and their decorative sun shades gliding slowly past with excited families waving/friendly. What a relaxing environment to find. Wow what a find. This is a beautiful romantic setting with surrounding woods for shade. At the far side of the lake were loads of different types of ducks who were squacking for food. The hotel provided Free parking, Wi Fi, Room Service and 24hr Front Desk Service. The Restaurant was acceptable, menu very limited. Its a quiet relaxing hotel in wonderful surroundings with acceptable simplistic budget hotel rooms which are very clean and well serviced. The price paid reflected in the rating of the hotel. We would return again just for the comfortable relaxing room with its view. Ideal for couples, Honeymooners and families. Would certainly recommend.

Nice location over looking of Mayem Lake. Wide range of rooms from Dormatiry non A/C to A/c Deluxe cottage. If one can adjust with short falls, it is a nice option. You may find your door Aldrop is not working, No hot & cold water at basins etc. Good service but Poor maintenance. Restaurant timing is 10.00 Am to 11.00 Pm. NO BREAKFAST. It is strictly OK. No Recreation around. Boating in the lake is closed for long time. Value for money.... Not really.

Visited in the evening hoping for a nice evening by the lake. The whole place is run down. Grass and weeds over grown. Tiles broken on the paths. Actually there was no one there. Even the restaurant was closed. Definitely not a place to be.

We went to see lake.There is no boat.Nothibg is there,no cleaness.Only guesthouses are there.They are cute houses.But past years the lake lost its attractions.Its 29km long distance from panaji.The ferry route is also there.
