Yet another example of the famous personalised Taj hospitality. Abhishek at the front desk made check in very easy. Shadaab too was very helpful and finally managed to get us an upgrade on day 3. Property is centrally located but looks old and perhaps needs some renovation. Good pool but a bit unkempt. There is a big lake but it was smelly. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well lit. Toiletries and other utilities replenished daily which is a hallmark of all Taj hotels where I have stayed. Very good housekeeping. Bathrooms would do well with a hand shower. Very impressed with a stand for hanging masks on every table in the restaurant and all sitting areas. Ditto for plenty of hand sanitiser dispensers kept on each floor. Great paintings and art work in the hallways all across the hotel and inside the rooms. The staff in the dining area were very attentive, polite and courteous, starting from the restaurant manager Animesh and down to Bikash, Manoj, Biswojit, Arunima- the lone female staff in that area, who we met briefly just on one day as she keeps flitting between Taj Banjara and Taj Deccan- full marks to them. Special mention of Executive Chef P Shreedhar for the excellent variety of dishes, served with something new to savour everyday with a daily change of menu, including desserts. The lady at the live counter made excellent omelette. Pasta too was great and so was the soup Murg Badami Shorba. Likewise for other dishes. I would love to see more female staff. I could spot only three- one at the front desk on night duty, one at the egg counter and Arunima. Service is very personalized and I felt so well attended throughout my stay, despite it being a huge hotel with 8 floors. Was very touched on getting a parting gift from the restaurant manager on the last day of my stay.

Taj Banjara has a great bunch of staff who are very polite and gentle with their customers and provide the best services. Keep up the good job. From the food to ambience to the staff everything is at its best.

We have stayed here since mid 1990s and this stay in end March to early April 2022 was also special. Taj Banjara staff is what breathes life into the experience. Same can be said for other Taj hotels as service makes you feel so special and cared for but Taj Banjara is many notches up than other Taj properties in terms of staff. Restaurant manager Animesh is an asset to Taj. His camaraderie with guests and overall leading the team is simply exemplary. Thank you Abhishek for prompt effficient check in and check out. Our special thanks to front desk staff Shadab, words are not enough to do justice to the extent he goes to address our issues. Thank you Shadab and for accommodating our requests and demands! Your efforts have made our stay so memorable, thanks. Another gem of staff are in the restaurant area, who are incredible assets to Taj. Bikash and Biswojit both make every guest feel so personally attended and cared for, thank you Bikash and Biswojit. Same experience with Manoj, female staff at egg live counter needs a special mention too. There are few female staff at Taj Banjara which management should look into. All of them stand out with exceptional professionalism and high standards. Arunima thank you for your support. Soup daily are so good, loved the food experience. We loved the food here, big enough buffet and fresh food. Special thanks to Taj Banjara to even get us specially made on demand food items - thank you! Some memorable food we thoroughly enjoyed include ‘Luchi”, Chhola bhatura, grilled fish, Murg Badami Shorba with lemon soup. MORE: • Smelly Banjara lake is really problematic to sit outside although it was always good to be out in the open and enjoy Banjara open air restaurant experience • Good pool but not big for lap swimming and needs more cleanliness (leaves floating etc), water level a bit lower than pool edge • No hand shower in bathroom • Special mask stand for keeping masks everywhere in restaurant or public area tables and sitting area • Rooms are very well lit, thank you Taj Banjara. Absolutely perfect lighting and ambience. • Rooms are big enough, toilets bathroom good though slightly smaller yet fine. • Drinking water and all what we need is well supplied • Another special mention has to be of great paintings and art work in the hallways all across hotels and inside room. Let us end with what we discussed few times amongst ourselves: Service is so personalized and we felt so well attended and special care taken of that one May think we are the only ones in the hotel. This is not true, this is Taj and a huge hotel with 8 floors and fully booked on some days we were there!

I had a 20 day stay at the Taj Banjara. More than the facility and it's vintage which might seem like a let off. I would want to focus fully on the comfort , warmth , hospitality and care shown by the staff! Special thanks to Animesh and Pintu for making my breakfast lively each day during my 20 day stay . Taj Banjara is very centrally located and is in the hub of all activities. The people at taj Banjara are extremely warm and welcoming. They treat you as friends not as guests. Special shout out to Aishwarya Roy, Hema, Animesh, Biswas (sorry the name is spelt differently by him) Anil… the list goes on…. Sure recommend to experience the warmth.
