Lagoon Bay at Leonia

Staying at cascade was an awesome experience. My family loved the experience of a private pool. The accessibility to kids area… the ambience all were really good. Food quality also is good but with limited spread in ala carte. Overall an awesome n lovely weekend get away hyderabad has. Thank you

Excellent maintenance and good staff and friendly place to stay in Hyderabad and very quite place for couples and friends and family to have a good weekend in city outskirts of Hyderabad overall ambiance is excellent

Stay is wonderful facilities are good have some suggestion on the lights in the room please rectify it breakfast buffet could have been a little better services are great pleasant atmosphere best for every one

It’s over hyped definitely. As local residents of hyderabad only comes to this place so they have less conviction to provide good ambience and facilities. Cleanliness big issue club has dirt everywhere. Claimed as 5 star but food is not more than a 2 star no taste. So avoid buffet. Prices are high with quality of food provided. Parking do own anywhere on road side biggest downside of it. Rooms spacious with basic facilities. Ratings of thousands on search engine are fake just keep it on top.

3 of our families have planned for a vacation and were all pretty exited as we have booked our stay at Hyderabad's one of the best resort "Leonia Holistic Destination" Shamirpet. We have booked the Bay Window Celestia suite as Lagoon Bay rooms were all booked. It was a 40kms trip from our house and we have reached few minutes before the checkin time as we wanted to checkin soon and have lunch there. Things went a bit off track with our first interaction with the Reception staff. A tall lady became offensive within minutes as one of our relatives (72 years old lady) only had a pan card as id proof, though other 7 of us had proper address proofs. Unfortunately Leonia never sent us any mail, sms or whatsapp message about these strict id restrictions, but we understood that it is a govt requirement after reaching there. We were fine to comply and were searching our google drives, whatsapp chats, emails, everywhere to get that one last address proof. But the Leonia staff were adamant that they sent us the mail and wanted to prove us wrong, one of the staff member even grabbed mobile from my hand to show how wrong we were. We were shouting at them for going thru the personal emails, but he kept searching without giving a heed to us. He couldnt find any communication indicating about this id proof as the booking was from MakeMyTrip and resort people didnt bother what MakeMyTrip communicated to us. This went for 1 hour, we were near to the closing of lunch time, finally we found the missing proof and were allowed in. Our idea of fun turned sour at that moment. We had been to Kerala, Kashmir, Andaman, Sikkim, Mumbai, Kutch and many other places and resorts but didnt face this arrogant behavior anywhere. The rooms were big but we quickly realized that there is no view for the Bay window rooms as promised in their beautiful pictures on their website. Toilets are pathetic with black moss on the roof, broken commode and after bath water wasnt draining in the bath tubs. So much for paying the huge room price and things were less than a 3 start hotel. Our bad luck continued as we went to the Splash pool in the evening. The staff who sells swimwear gave a set to my wife, she requested him to show other sizes as well, but the person said that other sizes doesnt fit her and only this will work for you. That was a bit rude tone and was embarassing. Who was he to decide which size fits a woman, how are these guys even trained. Finally got into the pool which seemed to be well maintained and the slides were fun. We finally started having some good time. This is a very busy place on weekends with lots of guest. Room service isnt great, the tea bougth to rooms was not hot and we have to call 4 times to get water. Sun and Moon restaurant and Bistro restaurants are always packed and we had to wait for 30min every time to get a table. Food is good though. Leonia Resort doesnt have any landscaping done so there isnt much to do for people who wake up early in the morning. Pool behind the reception wasnt maintained well too. In fact, except the Splash pool there isnt anything to do there. But on weekends this pool is filled with hundreds of people with no peace. A day trip is worth to this resort but we do not suggest any stay here. Its a very noisy place with weddings, birthday parties and college students. So definitely not a good choice for people who want to have some peaceful time in a resort.
