Firstly we were very well received on arrival here and very good services along with food quality that's being served here on daily basis and also the room service and overall stay at this very pleasant and the location if this hotel is very good considering the places to visit here in Jaipur.

Location of hotel is best for site seeing, shopping, and airport proximity. Various packages are available, we had opted for bread and breakfast. Food options at restaurant are good. Room services are also available. We had booked in advance with Mr Rafiq as it was wedding season. He also allowed to extend check out time due to flight delay. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

The finest thing at Lords Plaza Hotel Jaipur was the delicious food at Blue Coriander Restaurant. Their congenial team offered an array of Indian and Western selections that became a highlight of my hotel experience during my visit in the week of Festival of Holi. Being an independent traveller who likes to sample (safely) foods of other cultures, I found their breakfast buffet and friendliness to be a fantastic way to start each day. The hotel is located near the Sawai Man Singh II Hospital and the complex of medical clinics and shops around it. Since I visited independently, it was very convenient to catch TukTuk taxis any time in front of the hotel. And, it took only a short time to reach the tourist sites. To return, all I needed to say was "SMS," and the drivers knew where to go. Since everything I did required cash, I withdrew rupees in 1000-2000 increments at the 24-hour ICICI Bank ATM's located in a guarded alcove among the medical suppliers on the west side of Tonk/SMS Road a short walk south of the hotel. Around the SMS Hospital, it was always crowded, and at night the homeless congregated near the emergency entrance. I wore N95 face mask while on TukTuk and around any crowds. This reduced the dust inhalation and the odors. My room overlooked the street, so the noise and constant horns of traffic was ever present in the background. In exchange, I enjoyed sunrises and a view of the city to the hills. Housekeeping was unobtrusive, but when I needed something they were very prompt. My shower lacked a closure door to prevent water from splattering the bathroom floor. Wifi was so slow that my Iphone might upload 20 pictures to the cloud overnight if I was lucky. As to how the hotel operated, the managers did little to nothing to assist the desk staff if any problem arose. For example, if a visitor's luggage was delayed or lost by the airline company and the visitor needed help navigating the process to find/retrieve the luggage, there was nothing the desk staff could offer except ineffective excuses and useless non-efforts. If a visitor requested help with local festival details, the managers simply consulted internet sites (which any visitor could easily do) which provided incorrect information. Competent managers would have gone the extra step to seek correct information for the visitor. From a Westerner's perspective, this is a basic hotel in a good strategic location for an independent traveller to visit sights of Jaipur and Amber and reach the JAI Airport. The room including breakfast was a great deal. The restaurant and housekeeping staff were super. Just don't expect the management to lift even one finger to help solve any external problems or questions.
