WORST STAY EVER.

Coming to Rajasthan, you expect to have a royal stay, you expect everything to be glitzy, glamourous and most importantly "Big", from the rooms you are staying into the thaali of your food, but do fear a trip to this so-called resort as this would make you feel the opposite of any Rajasthani or "Rajasik stay".
Whatever I might list down here, may seem frugal to many, but the folks or management at this resort are just money minded individuals. At any other Club Mahindra (CM) Resort, you at the very least get a call, inquiring how much time would it take for you to reach the resort or any other requests that you may have, but this CM Jaisalmer, calls you 4 to 5 times just to market their so-called desert safari and activities! No, questions about your whereabouts, I mean you might be getting late, you are not from this state, you might have taken a detour or anything could have happened to you?!? But no, all they want is to know is whether you would take any sort of activity package. Now if you do take a package, you might get cared for, a call or two you might receive, but if you don't, be sure to have the most unwelcoming stay ever.
Starting from the complete disaster of an unpaved road leading up to this so-called resort of 2x2 feet. The whole city of Jaisalmer seems to have all the lights and electricity directed towards the Fort, and CM Jaisalmer is no different, you take a 10 + KM detour from the properly lit highway to a oneway, bumpy, unlit road, with just two road signs telling you, that CM Jaisalmer does exist and you are not heading into a random place. You might think, but aren't 2 guide signs enough? As far as, I'm concerned the CM Resorts I have travelled to and stayed in across the country had guide signs at every 1 or 2 km. Here we are talking about 10 + KM.
Coming onto the reception, don't expect a welcome drink, either at the proper check-in time or odd timings.
The rooms would SMELL. The Bathrooms smell. Also if you are staying here, please don't expect to have any sort of view from any room. Dude, we are coming to Rajasthan, as I mentioned earlier, you expect a royal retreat, but this? What sort of 2x2 feet non-sensical property is this? We were told the unpaved road is at the core of a legal issue with the nearby villagers, so it would take time to subside. Alright, CAN YOU AT LEAST PUT SOME LIGHTING THERE?
You might find the pool looking very nice in pictures, but it is a mere 3.5 feet in height! I wonder for which age group that pool has been made for...
The food, TASTELESS. From the Pakora to the Pizza, god knows, where did they get their chefs from.
There's no welcome guide, as to where is the fun zone, where is "what", you might question why? Cause this doesn't seem like a CM property. The whole building is distaste-ly designed, the staff are clueless, all they care about is the money they would get from their desert safaris, that they keep advertising by sending their staff out of nowhere, asking every guest.
This place, in all honesty, doesn't even meet 1 per cent of the classic and elegant Club Mahindra Resort experience.
