The Imperial Poonam Hotel

Hotel was nice and clean. Good standards and excellent service. Manager was very helpful and receptionist was polite and helpful. The cleaner was friendly and honest, the kitchen staffs was kind and helpful. Would recommend to go to this hotel. We will be coming back here whenever we go India again!

Visited this hotel on my last visit to India was very nice offering fresh lager from tap which tasted good I also had non veg food which was also of a good standard I never stayed in the hotel but if I had to ever stay I would definitely stay here

1st time we visited Imperial Poonam Hotel, on entrance the staff were all very pleasant and spoke English to a high standard. The hotel was very clean. The Bar decro was different with great choice of indian and english music. Bar staff very friendly and going out of their way to make you feel confortable. Great choice of beers and really cool/cold. Proceeded to restaurant whch was well layed out. Food was simply excellent - no faults at all, service on the ball. Rooms really nice for the price.

Stayed at The Imperial Poonam Hotel in Phagwara from 19th December to 8th January 2020, for a family wedding. From the Manager, Reception staff, restaurant staff and housekeeping staff, we could not fault anything. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Will be staying there again. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Big thank you all for making our stay very enjoyable.

I visited Phagrawa as my parents were born there. I however, am born and raised in England and was slightly hesitant at how clean and nice the hotel would be. I was 100% BLOWN AWAY by the immaculate/beautiful/modern clean condition of Poonams Hotel. There was not a single piece of dirt in sight, the toilet was stunning (a rarity in India), powerful shower, great tv, fantastic snacks, comfortable cushiony beds and pillows, extra mattress easily provided, large rooms, secure rooms. NOW LETS TALK ABOUT THE FOOD. I genuinely have never eaten better Indian food in my entire life..and this is coming from someone who is Indian!!!! The waiter in the Resturant was such a kind lovely man too and super helpful, they even provide GLUTEN FREE FOOD! In fact all the staff were so lovely, if you have a chance to stay at this hotel I would highly recommend.
