Had been there with family. Decent place at reasonable rates.the room were neatly maintained and hygienic with all basic amenities. Staff was polite and we'll mannered. It is walkable to reach mahalaxmi temple

We went to Kolhapur for attending our friends marriage from Mumbai By car. My friend booked this hotl through internet . Food was very nice , Hotel rooms very small, But it is very near to Mahalaxmi temple. It is walkable distance to temple.Overall hotel is average

This is a very average hotel. Room is small. Bathroom is not clean. Lots of dust on the windows and room is stuffy though they sprayed some sort of perfume.Bath towels are not washed and cleaned properly. Location of the property is in a by lane where access by car is difficult in evening times due to traffic and roadside stalls. They have very limited options for food but what is available is good. I would recommend Hotel Sham Suman near Mahalakshmi Mandir which has the same tariff but rooms, bath room and linen are kept very neat and clean. Royal Hotel also charges early check in charges at the rate of Rs 100/- per hour which was not the case with Hotel Sham Suman. However for business visit, recommend better options near Dhabolkar Circle for the same tariff range
