The property and the staffs. Excellent. Missing my favourite person here (Late) Mr. S. H. Rahaman sir. Gratitude. Respect. Other favourites to mention here are Shaunak (front office) and Jitendra Biswas (restuarant manager) & Reena (therapist) . They make your stay not only memorable but also leaves you with a souvenir of returning desires. Nonetheless to mention..... The food bills might kill you right at sight. Stay safe . Keep a healthy heart ...... Saves you both from CORONA & the bills here 🤨 ! All i can say ❤️

there was an error at booking.com so villa wasn’t booked which we realised after reaching there. excellent service by Saunak and team to provide back up accommodation… on a very busy weekend. They were able to be friendly and accommodative, despite what was clearly an incredibly busy day for them. many other places would have just evaded helping us out as it was not an error at their end. Very impressed. Thanks!
An extremely over-priced resort with poor maintenance and not at all value for money

1) Vedic Village is over hyped place with exorbitant price, very poor communication from resort management, at least two-three times procced as it should be. 2) The check-in process took almost 30 minutes and we have got the room around 1430 hours, again a property taking INR 6300 the process should be much more customer friendly. 3) There is flagship Bengali restaurant Bhoomi, we reported there at 1440 hours and got the table, and then food around 1530 hours. Price of the food is per person INR 1500 plus 18 pc GST, which is coming INR 1770 per person, pretty high ticket vis-a-vis the menu it is offering. With so much high pricing the ambience is pretty ordinary, the utensils are broken, the experience of waiting almost one hour at 35 deg Celsius is fully unacceptable. The quality and the taste of the food is good. There are others reasons for discomfort too, the management is very unresponsive and there are issue from multiple guest were registered not sure if any action is taken. The plus is it hardly an hour journey from Central Kolkata but the the management should be cautious enough if they want to stay in the business. Currently my experience is not at all good and its repeat value is very less.

After a long gap (pandemic blues), we landed at this property for a much needed break. From the very first moment,we felt quite unwelcome. In contrast to all other resorts, there was no welcome drink! People at the reception didnot bother to greet us...it was I, instead who began with a greeting. Room had deficiencies which had to be pointed out...but of course, were attended to. In the buffet section, repeated requests had to be made for refilling of food items. Food items in ala carte section is grossly overpriced, but otherwise nicely prepared. Transport for ferrying to their boating/ play zone was badly managed... So we were left with no other option but walk on! Otherwise, the property is well maintained and beautiful. Avoid weekends as you will end up with music system blaring away all tranquility and ambience (due to the neverending parties/ concerts in their courtyard!And, finally, a request to all you folks moving for a visit....kindly keep your masks on...we are not yet done up with the pandemic yet!

I stayed here during my company's meeting in the month of January. This is a huge property but lack of maintenance. Poor maintenance can be seen in every corner of this resort. Rooms get old & need urgent repair. Many of the resort staffs were new, & they can not speak properly in font of the gust. Food was good & breakfast was also quite impressive.
