ITC Sonar, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kolkata

ITC Sonar has been my second home since 2016. Absolutely love everything about the place - the people, the ambience, the rooms, the food, everything is on point! Angelina, Wahid, Esha, Sailja check you into a room of your preference with a wide smile and a hearty conversation! Angelina and Wahid usually have your room keys ready even before you get to the hotel. Angelina has your bills ready before you get to the front desk to check out. Check in and check out is always a seamless experience and done in good time. Sailja writes your name on your key cards in beautiful calligraphy. Protik makes sure your transport is always ready well before time. At the Eden Pavillion, Shivani, Reshma, Mathew, Souvik take excellent care of you! Binita and Akhtar do the same at Dum Phukt! Sharmila, Jyoti, Kaushik, Bishwajeet from in-room dining know exactly what your orders and culinary preferences are, which is very impressive given the number of daily orders they deal with. Bibek, Aman and Amit ensure your food is delivered to your room, piping hot! Birender and Shubhananda have your room ready with everything you need. Sabir, Ricky and crew get your laundry delivered nice and crisp! The hotel manager Nitin runs a tight ship and is the nicest man you will ever meet! He personally takes the effort to make sure you have a comfortable stay and takes excellent care of you! Everything at Sonar has a personal touch which I greatly appreciate. Like I said before, I love this hotel that upholds ITC’s lofty standards all while making you feel like you are part of one big and happy family! Cheers guys, keep up the good work!

It was my first time in kolkatta and one of my friend told me to stay in this hotel and i think i made a wise choice to stay in this beautiful hotel staff are very professional especially Protik in the concierge he is very talented of what he is doing he help me alot as i was new in kolkatta he recommended me victoria memorial and St.Paul cathedral Church and many more attractions in kolkatta this guy made my stay. Thank you so much Protik i hope i will see you soon again with my family.

I have stayed at ITC Sonar & ITC Royal Bengal for both business & family trips. The team members at both places have made the stays comfortable and pleasant. A special mention about Nitin Bahl, Hotel Manager - ITC Sonar, who has gone out of his way to ensure the guest comfort is not compromised. A very soft-spoken gentleman who has got personally involved to resolve the smallest concerns of guests. Nitin is ably supported with an excellent team. Esha Joshi & Wahid on the front desk have ensured check-ins and check-outs are smooth. Esha has been extremely hospitable and handled matters with great sensitivity. She too has resolved concerns keeping guest comfort & their happiness as top priority, a reflection of the culture across ITC Hotels (I have experienced similar hospitality at ITC Maratha, Mumbai). I have often received a complementary upgrade. Chef Shubhanker, Rebecca and GRE Sreya at Eden Pavilion spoil the guests with their warmth and tasty food. The equipment and trainers in the gym at ITC Royal Bengal are very good. Always a pleasure staying at ITC Sonar & ITC Royal Bengal.

I lived this hotel. It us so beautiful. The food is amazing. The staffs are so cooperative and hardworking. Special mention to shailjaa from front office. The ambience was too good. I enjoyed very wel.
