We stayed there in April 2022 for 4 days, the breakfast variety for us (vegetarian) was super !! The layout is ensconced with trees ... the paths are spick and span with the cottages spread out. The rooms are excellent and we had an amazing view from our balcony.

Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar This happens to be my 6th time stay in Le Meridien. It’s my favourite resort in Mahabaleshwar. I have been to many resorts in Mahabaleshwar but nothing comes close to Le Meridien. They have a beautiful alleys with so much greenery and beautiful plantation around which makes you feel like you’re in a mini Mahabaleshwar in the resort itself. Their ambience is modern and full of characteristics. I love the detailed architecture and vibe around the hotel. Even the rooms are spacious with balconies that lets you enjoy the winters and monsoon. It’s a beautiful resort which brings out the best of Mahabaleshwar. Their food is excellent. Be it morning breakfast or in room dinning, it’s very delicious. Not to miss out on Woods Restaurant. It’s the signature restaurant of the hotel and you won’t find Asian restaurant in whole Mahabaleshwar with such amazing food. Chingari is one more restaurant that can’t be missed out. It has delicious Indian cuisine. Overall the food is top notch and there will never be a time where you won’t like any food. The rooms are very well made. We were upgraded to Serenity Suite and it’s one of the best suites we’ve stayed in. It’s got a very nice decor and ambience inside. The wooden dinning table, patio and the huge bath tub are mesmerising to stay in. Not to forget their huge outdoor shower area which we loved it. A sincere thanks to Mr. Kiran for the upgrade. He’s truly a gentlemen who had taken care of everything that we asked for. When it comes to Marriott Hotels, the service can’t go wrong and that was the same with Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar. Top notch service. Never a complaint about it. They were always there whenever we needed their help and out of their way to help us too. We went to swim at Infinity pool area which is very beautiful place and also we used kids play area which has ample of toys and books etc to play around. Overall, I love this property and I would definitely recommend to go. It’s got everything, modern & spacious rooms, delicious food, excellent service with lots of activities for everyone. I would like to thank Mr. Krishna & Mr. Siddharth Dey for the upgrade, Ms. Annu & Mr. Rahul Singh for giving us such a warm and wonderful service and all the other staff who I have missed out their names, please consider my sincere regards, because of you’ll we had a lovely stay. Thank you Le Meridien, we would definitely come again for the 7th Time :)

I am short of words to describe how amazing this trip to Mahabaleshwar was. Amidst a peaceful and serene location, this place has lovely rooms with a sit out, ensuring you can soak in the best views of the hills and misty clouds all around. I was travelling with elderly ladies and I’m grateful to the entire team for looking after them like family. A special shout out to - Chef Yogi - his understated confidence and warmth throughout every interaction. The breakfast was a fantastic spread and the personalisation is commendable. He runs a very capable team and gave us a superb recommendation for Parsi food outside the hotel for one of the meals. Chef Harmeet - he convinced us to try out food at Chingari - their Indian specialty restaurant and We were truly taken aback by the super light and delicious food - salmon tikka and galouti kebab were real highlights. The service team was on point, warm without being intrusive. Krishna - his efficiency with departure and prompt assistance throughout the stay are thoroughly appreciated. The buggies were very prompt to my surprise because that’s usually the biggest concern for resorts. Sidharth Dey - a short interaction but promising one !! Housekeeping - Sudeshna, Avijit and Chanda and team for always smiling, providing everything from anti skid mats to cups, linen - turndown - we are truly touched. Thank you all and good luck!

Lovely property, full of greenery. Good service, friendly staff. Special mention for Rudra, Krishna and Ms Singh. Awesome breakfast buffet spread. Had heard abt their lunch/ dinner buffets too but could not get to experience either. A littte cumbersome for senior citizens, although staff goes out of the way to help. A lovely spa… So, basically an ideal place to relax, rejuvenate, eat and sleep! Icing on the cake…. Espresso machine in the room! lovely place but as compared to last year, the rates are way too high!

The Meridien is a nice property, nestled in a forested area and with rooms that offer a degree of privay and quiet even when the property is booked to capacity (as it was on the long weekend that we were there). However, the common areas do tend to feel crowded and it seems like the property is confused about whether it wants to be a quiet retreat for people looking to get away and relax or an adventure place for families/kids - it can't be both, obviously, which leads to a somewhat schizophrenic experience. The check-in area outdoors always had some random music playing, at all times of the day and night, as does The Latest Recipe and Woods (their outdoor restaurant) with music from both sides overlapping if you sit outdoors at The Latest Recipe - it is a bit jarring, to say the least. The Spa is the only place outside your room where you can get some peace and quiet - the spa treatments are excellent as is the staff. The buffet lunch and breakfast is good, with a large spread. However, it is obvious that they cater to a particular sort of palette (i.e. highly spicy, rich, etc.) when it comes to the Italian and Indian cuisine there, which was not particularly authentic. As for the servers and other staff at Meridien - they were reasonably good (particularly at Woods - shoutout to Annu, who is the only person at the Meridien who is efficient) but because of the property being at full capacity the service was a bit distracted - this would be okay for a place that doesn't charge the rates that Meridien charges. All in all, it was a reasonably good weekend but I'm not sure we would visit again.
