    Very good place for a family holiday. Good food, fully veg. The staff is specially very helpful. Mr. Kishor, who manages the resort, especially, needs a mention… extremely hospitable and helpful. My son fell ill and he helped me with the doctor and medication. Even the staff were very willing to help us out without hesitation. The resort is spacious. Evening activities like magic show, live music and disco, made it fun for the whole family.

    It's a great hotel, probably one of the oldest in matheran. The rooms are okay. Could have been cleaner. And yes keep in mind they don't have toothpaste in the room so make sure you carry it with you if you choose to stay there! But by far the best thing about our stay was the food. It was one of the best vegetarian food I had. You can tell they make it with special care. And you can't beat the variety as well.Location wise it's about 20 mins walk from the train station so if you plan to walk there then pack light.

    The food here no doubt is very good. But the hospitality is worse. People here takes things very lightly if we complained about the room. We booked a Villa for 4 days including all the meals. This place is quite pricey. We were given a villa full of mosquitoes and houseflies. The AC had a foul smell. Our first was wasted figuring how we will sleep. Next day they shifted us to another Villa where TATA SKY was not recharged. The place is not cleaned one can see dirty diapers and spider webs all around. I will never go here. The Manager shouted at my family when we approached him. We were not respected at all. We paid so much we expect a good quality stay.

    Mr. Rahul, the Manager is ill-mannered and does not know how to speak to guests. We had booked a pool side villa for the new years, and we faced problems since the time we stepped in. The check-in was done an hour after we arrived, we were told that the villa is being cleaned and sanitized. When we entered the room, the room on the top floor was stinking, like something had died. The drains were choked and there were several insects on inside the villa. When we complained about these issues, the Manager told us that we were the ones who have created the issues, since no one before us had complained. We spent a whole day trying to fix the issues, after which we were offered a change of villa. However, the Manager just kept adding to our pain. He created a scene in their dinner area, when we asked him to compensate is for the day spoiled. He shouted at my Parents and spoiled the entire experience. It's a beautiful property, but, this guy "The Manager" is really ill-mannered. Others members of the staff were helpful and courteous.

    Not satisfied at all. I would have rated it negative but that option is not available. Took more than 5 hours just to recharge Tata Sky. Food was also not upto the mark, was not able to understand whether water was mixed in milk or milk was mixed in water. Worst staff who are not willing to understand your concerns. Instead they tell you very rudely to not create SCENE even after customer is politely talking
