    My stay at The Shalimar Hotel was fantastic! My room was extremely comfortable and spacious as well as being well maintained. The room had lots of authentic touches, which made it a joy to stay in. All of the staff were very hospitable and really helped me to feel at home during my stay. The hotel is in a very convenient location, with lots of Mumbai attractions very close by. During my stay I ate at the Gulmurgh restaurant inside the hotel. The restaurant had lots of options, and the food was always delicious! The butter chicken was my favourite - definitely the best in Mumbai! I would pay a visit to The Shalimar Hotel if nothing else, but to eat that butter chicken! The hotel's Deli had tasty, quick sandwiches, which was also very convenient. Nova Gelato was a new addition to the hotel and the gelato was amazing! The quality of the ingredients was superb and all of the flavours I tried were scrumptious. I also tried Jintan, which was their new Asian restaurant. There was a really good variety of sushi and the fish was fantastic quality! Overall my stay was very comfortable and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mumbai.

    Stayed for a week at the hotel following a last minute reservation. The room was extremely comfortable, members of the staff were polite and responsive and food was excellent. The hotel is extremely well located and has a delightful old world charm that made the stay very warm and pleasurable!

    This was my first visit post pandemic to Mumbai and I returned to the Shalimar where I have stayed before I felt very comfortable with the precautions followed by the staff and the staff were very welcoming and glad to see me. My room was very comfortable and well maintained and the service was impeccable The breakfast buffet was excellent with wide variety and plenty of options including freshly prepared dishes I tried the Indian food at the well known restaurant Gulmurgh and the signature butter chicken was the stand out dish for us. We also sampled dishes from their new Asian kitchen Jintan and the sushi was very good They also have a new outlet called Gelato and the flavours and quality of the gelato was amazingly good! The hotel is very conveniently located in the upmarket residential district of south Mumbai and provides easy access to most attractions and the business district of the city I found the hotel excellent value for money and the staff were very helpful and had local knowledge which was very useful in planning our outings I was a returning guest and was glad I chose to stay here and would recommend this hotel highly for its location,service,in-house food outlets and professional and helpful staff and I look forward to my next visit here

    Made my first business trip after the pandemic. Was a bit apprehensive. However, the hotel had all safety measures in place, and the staff were outstanding and put all my travel fears to rest. The room, as usual, was extremely comfortable and well equipped with all amenities, including toiletries, safe, minibar, stationary etc. Had a massage, which rejuvenated me after a long and tiring day. But the piece de resistance was the Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. Absolutely delicious. Strong recommended. The staff were outstanding and well trained to help guests at every stage, whether it was the lobby, restaurant or the room service. What are you A new surprise was the Ice Cream parlour at the Lobby level serving delicious flavours, and I strongly recommend the dark chocolate. Overall, an excellent hotel that knows how to look after their guests and make them feel comfortable.

    We stayed there for 2 weeks. The staff is very humble and cooperative. Location is very good. Rooms are nice. Only phase which we didn't like was the breakfast one. Food was not upto Mumbai level and the staff in the dining area were too ignorant. Otherwise everything was really good. Manager Madam Mallika was so kind and humble. Just need to improve on food and environment of Dining area. We will definitely stay here whenever we are in Mumbai. Thank you Hotel Shalimar.
