We booked the Lakeside chalet to celebrate a special occasion in Jul 2021. The experience was memorable and far better than our expectations. The staycation package is a wonderful opportunity to experience the Hotel in the 360 deg way. Few days before our stay, Swati Dey the Front desk Manager called us to confirm our arrival. She made note of all the special requests and was very polite and friendly. On the day of arrival - Swati was available to welcome us, and made the check-in process smooth. A few hours later, we realized that the Refrigerator was not functional and it was important for me to keep my food and drinks chilled. Swati moved us to another apartment, with a much better Lake view. The high tea was a surprise and we were amazed by the invitation and variety of snacks available. The property has lot of greenery, open space and picturesque. We were told to start the buffet dinner a bit early, to avoid long queues. Wait period is longer due to many guests, so it is apt to start dinner early (around 8:00 pm). The buffet had wide spread and delicious. The Chef would not mind getting you a custom made dish, if you are keen. Likewise the morning breakfast was one of the best, with wide spread. Overall a great experience for 1 night stay. Swati and the other staff was cooperative and always reachable. I plan to visit again with my family. Thanks Marriott and Renaissance staff.

This was indeed a very special effort from entire esteemed team of Lakeside Chalet to craft such an memorable experience for all of us. Thanks for making a very special Birthday memories for my son, we will always reminiscence the moment of complimentary upgrade, late check out, special bday cake and above all gift hamper. A very special mention to Guest relation – Ms Snehal for all her special efforts and team at Crimson for our morning breakfast. Look forward to rekindle this special staycation experience very soon.

The goods: 1) Rooms were really nice and served the purpose 2) The lake view was nice and the location was great 3) There are really good places to eat within a km distance of the hotel The oks Service and food : One of the worst breakfast buffet, I have ever had in india . The service during the breakfast was also really bad with any request being not listened to . We did not have good experience on any day. Better option is to skip breakfast and have it in nearby restaurants. While room service and housekeeping was fine, the response from most of the people cold(may be a big city syndrome-have had much better experiences in marriot properties)

We stayed here for 3 nights on a recent visit to Mumbai. The bedrooms in the one bedroom suite are terribly small and the queen beds just cannot accommodate 2 adults and one child. While they offered an extra bed that would have been placed in the sitting room and that didn't work for us. The closets are extremely small and can barely accommodate anything and there is no place to store the suitcases. We were on the 9th floor and it had seepage on the walls of the lobby area plus stained carpets. We requested for a change in rooms (a paid change) to Renaissance which was in the same premises but there were way too many excuses - one minute it was available, next minute the check out was still to be done and then there were excuses about real-time booking issues and no control over when they get booked. It all sounded very bizarre. I am a club marriot member and the service really disappointed me. The hotel is in need of a major refurb. We checked out a day early.

Check-in experience was seamless. Rooms and property are poorly maintained. Freezer had brown accumulated ice. Mirror top full of dust, even after complaint only superficial cleaning performed. Dust still on mirror. Droppings under bath towel. Not cleaned even after pointing out same. Curtain tied with plastic rope where ring missing in sitting area. Curtain in sleeping area with paint marks.
