We originally booked a room for 3 weeks at the Fab hotel Lotus Grand through Booking.Com. and paid a deposit. Two days before we left home we received an email telling us we had been moved to the hotel Adore Palace for some obscure reason. When we arrived at 9.30pm after a long flight, we were told no such booking had been made and no rooms were available.Finally the manager arrived and said he could organise a room for the night and would sort things out in the morning. The next day he moved us from the small room to a "premium" room which was much bigger, and also sorted out the transfer of our deposit. I can understand why people would be dissatisfied with this hotel and much of what is written is true, but from our experience we found the room to be good for the price, although no hot water lol, The manager and staff really made us welcome and helped us wherever they could. This a cheaper end of the market hotel in a poorer part of Mumbai, but it is quite close to the airport and accessible to anywhere by tuk tuk or Uber for little cost.
We were in India for dental treatment which turned out to be completed within the first week, so we decided to change our flight and return home. The manager, although disappointed, did help us to cancel the rest of our booking with Booking.Com, which we couldn't do ourselves. Thank you Imran.
So if you are on tight budget and want to experience the REAL India, then the Adore Palace might be for you, but don't expect too much.

Location is good but facilitate are room enmities are not upto the mark. Bedsheets seems to be cleaned 1 2 month back. Cockroaches are there in the room and food quality is third class. It seems they have tied up with some cheap local restaurant.
Not advisable if traveling with family.

I generally read ratings before I book. I made two previous bookings and canceled because the previous hotel indicated AP pickup but I requested they don't do such a thing. My internet was out for a couple of days and I was running out of time. I asked a friend to book for me and this was chosen. They said pickup is 1200 rupees and payment in advance, transferredin a conspicuousway. I suspected that was too much as AP is a stone throw. After some persuasion, I decided to forego and ignored pickup. I took prepaid taxi @AP and yup their prepay was double. I arrived past midnight, very tired and have to fly out on the first hour of the next day. Technically I only be here only ~30 hours. I booked 2 nights.
I went in my room, (oh I meant a box) and laid my head to relax. After a few minutes I was ready to sleep. There was a high pitched alarm ringing sound but I couldn't place where it was coming from. I asked front desk to fix. Guy walks in and says he couldn't hear a thing! WTH? I told myself I'm tired I can sleep through this.
I woke up and I smelled sewer smell and traffic horns were blaring.
Guy moved my room across the hall away from traffic and sewer smell no more. I was told breakfast was included so I inquired. He said he will give coffee or tea in my room and poha or pongal or something like that (aka rice). He said they didn't have a dining area. I passed.
I went to the mall a bit, had a meal and last minute shopping. I'll be leaving around 2 am so I wanted to sleep around 6 or so. No such luck. Front desk was loud, non stop noise and banging everywhere. Around 11 , I asked if they can tune down. After a few minutes guy across my room was shouting at somebody sounded like a subordinate as I heard the other fellow kept saying "yes sir." Soooooooo loud I thought he was going to beat up the guy.
Me? Zero sleep I decided to pack and leave for airport 6 hours before my flight.
Soooooo horrible experience. This is NOT a hotel. It's even worse than a zoo. At least in the zoo animals have sleep time. They have no regards for their guests. DO NOT stay here.

Horrible is an understatement. The reception demanded for cash instead of a card or google pay. No connectivity in the room because of which you have no signal on your mobile. Wifi doesn't work. Hardly any channels to watch. Very small room with no space. The bathroom is not clean. Overall a place where you shouldn't stay even if they gave it to you free of cost.
