Nature Zone Resort

Well,recently I visited this awesome place called ‘Nature Zone Jungle Resort’ with family which was turned out to be an exciting and interesting trip in my life.This resort is located in the middle of tea estates around 7 km away from Munnar town.When we reached Munnar town,Jeep was ready to take to the resort.The off-road Jeep safari turned out to be an adventurous one.The road was really bumpy and we could feel the adrenaline rush in our body each time when the tyre skipped from one stone to other.The trip was adventurous yet beautiful.Lush green tea estates is seen both the side of the path and climate was soothing around 15-18 degree celsius. We reached our destination-The Nature Zone Jungle Resort after around 30 minutes of really interesting off-road safari. We were welcomed with a hot spice tea and after usual entry formalities,they had given guidelines for the proper stay in the resort.The resort is situated close to forest and we could literally feel the warmth of fresh greenery.Resort was always lighten up with sounds of different birds. My package includes 7km to and fro off-road safari,stay,breakfast & dinner. Since I have a little daughter,we couldn’t stay in Tree House due to safety reasons and hence chose Tent. Tent was quite spacious for a family of three and equipped with all usual facilities except TV and Wifi.Since the primary objective of this resort is to take the guests to nature and fill them with jungle vibes,the absence of technological facilities are quite reasonable. After taking rest and bath,we went to the front office as informed for an evening trek.An experienced guide took us to the tea estates and then to hill which is located very near to forest.The trek through forest path was really a new experience and it ended in the beginning of a high hill.Our trekking continued and without much effort we could reach halfway through the hill.Then the guide informed us about the top part of the hill which is named as ‘Pulippara’ means ‘The rock of Leopard’.He then explained the history behind the name and told us that the rock cave situated at the top of the hill was the home for Leopards in the old times.Then he took us to the cave.The travel to the cave was really adventurous yet interesting and one could see the entire Munnar city and beyond from there.The path inside the cave is really dark,steep and narrow but it was only medium difficult to climb through it.It was almost dawn then and we returned to Resort after enjoying the sunset from top. The beauty of the resort was more visible during night time with all the lights.I was carried some books with me and the atmosphere was too good for reading there in the evening.They had arranged a Camp fire for all the guests which was followed with dinner.The restaurant is located in the centre of the resort and was easily accessible.There was no room service in the resort.This is mainly to avoid attraction of different insects and small animals like squirrels since the resort is located in and around forest.So one must go to restaurant for having food.They used to take dinner orders in the evening itself and arrange it on table when we reached the restaurant.Food was good. Next day,we wake up early in the morning for the sun rise.One side of the resort is a valley and there was an area arranged specifically for witnessing sun rise. Even though that was a foggy morning,we could enjoy the sun rise.Later we went for an early morning trekking,arranged by resort.The walk was really refreshing and beautiful with forest and tea estates scenery.On our return walk,we could see the tree houses which is located in the higher side of the resort.Tree houses are the most attractive and recommenced part of this resort.One could literally feel forest staying in Tree house.However it is not recommended for small children and old people considering risk associated with height. After two days of co-existing with nature ,we said adieu to The nature zone jungle resort.All the staffs were helpful and cordial.Our Jeep was ready to take us back to Munnar town and we sat on it enjoying nature for the one last time.For a nature lover,this is a must visit place in Munnar.

If you are looking for some private time and solitude, away from the mundane, with your partner, This is it. The major attraction is that it is an hour long offroading drive to the place, which makes it difficult to go out and come back often. But then the idea of a getaway is to find yourselves. But the resort is a destination in itself offering various trekking and sightseeing options. The weather was awesome, covering the entire mountain with mist and gone in the next instant. The Treehouse was amazing and inside deep forest, making us feel one with nature.

It was really a nice experience in the resort especially the jungle ambience and the amiable staff.More over the hospitality was highly appreciable.And a special thanks to Mr. Mahesh, who motivated and lead us for the wonderful trekking.Also we strongly suggest this resort to everyone who wish to experience the real beauty of munnar.

One of the best resorts I have visited. Made our honeymoon days worth remembering. Would like to share a few positives regarding property and people 1. Best thing about nature zone is the location itself. Located admist lust greenery, the closest u can get to nature. U will be picked up by their jeep from munnar town to nature zone resort which is nearly 30 min off road ride which is a thrilling experience. 2.The property is having ample space with fun amneties and multiple view points to view enchanting beauty f munnar. 3.We stayed in African Safari tent, the room cleanliness, ambience, room service everything is of top notch. I would rather suggest people coming to nature zone to have two full days here... A day in African safari tent and a day in Tree house. 4.Yummy dinner and breakfast. Feels like home away from home. Special candle light dinner and camp fire made our Honeymoon night special. Thanks to Maheshji for those wonderful clicks and chit chats.... Would definitely suggest Nature zone to my friends and colleagues.

First, let me thank all the staffs & management for such a heartwarming welcome & hospitality. To start with we were 6 travelers in total (consisted of a 3yrs kid & rest all being adults) the journey from Munnar town took approx. 45- 50 min to reach this magnificent hidden world in Munnar. This journey was with stop overs for photoshoot inside the tea estates.( not like other common spot filled with crowds or having no privacy) this 45-50 min we were enjoying the off-road experience (just like doing in wild safari) few places we were anxious to encounter any wild animal. unfortunately, we didn't see any. We reached the resort and such a lovely ambience, decently goes with its name (NATURE ZONE). Treehouse, Tents and Restaurant the way how they are maintaining everything there is exceptional. They won’t compromise on quality at all. We enjoyed the food too as it was cook very well and of course delicious too. We did a day trekking too inside the jungle and the way to the top of the hill to see an astonishing view of Munnar. Just Amazing !!! Next time we visit Munnar, we surely stay at Nature Zone only. :) Thanks, Mr. Mahesh, for all your support.
