Wild Elephant Eco-Friendly Resort

Nice ambience,eco friendly,nice hospitality It seems inside the forest green zone and get fresh air. A nice property to enjoy with family and friends.we enjoyed the food and the people was quiet friendly.Overall good and well maintained eco friendly resort.

Good resort to stay with nicely built rooms and pleasent ambiance. The perfect place for taking a break from our busy life.Tea plantation, waterfall view and forest views make the resort beautiful.The morning walk through tea plantation make to cool and give a mind refreshment. Natural beauty of the place is beyond our expectations.food and accommodation was excellent, delicious food and nice rooms.The cottages are well designed with really good interiors and well maintained.Staff was also amazing and very much helpful.They arranged a trekking,jeep Safari and sight seeing to Anakkulam elephant pond, waterfalls, plantations etc.If we get a second chance to visit Mankulam ,we definitely will look to staying at wild elephant resort. The weather was amazing and it's like Munnar. Overall its a good resort with nice people, service and excellent location.We enjoyed the stay, because the location is blessed by nature.

I had booked a 3 night 4 day stay in this resort. Since it is my first time to Munnar, I had no expectation of what's coming. After reaching Munnar, travel ~20KMs ro reach the resort Google maps can help you. downloading offline maps may help, cos the signals are not great. The roads were broken in between so no speeding if you are driving. This resort on the Viripara - Manakulam HWY. I was greeted at the reception warmly and looking at my fatigue I was immediately offered coffee. The staff helped me with my luggage transportation to the room. Initially I thought the resort is bit far off, but that is the blessing !! in the midst of absolute peace, tea gardens and nature. There is a natural waterfall within walk-able distance and the sound of the water falling can be clearly heard from the resort adding more calm to the mind. Rooms were good & clean, courteous staff and helpful people. My package had breakfast included. Food was very nice. Dont miss the masala chai. I became a huge fan of it !! My purpose of the visit is to detox myself from daily routine and re-energise the body and mind. I must really say I got what I wanted. Definitely recommended !! Will visit again.

Would give 0 if it I could. We booked for 3 nights. Had problems to transfer the requested deposit from Sweden but got a written promise that they will hold our booking. When we arrived late after 6 h drive, we got no information that our room was gone we were just taken to the worst dump I have ever seen. Dark, damp, dirty, no bedsheets. He showed us an other room inside the hotel - in the same standard. Had a look in the pool an it was loads of bugs in it and no circulation of the water. - stay away! Booked with bookings and had to pay cancelation fee in order to cancel the reservation.
