A gem of a place to stay - small with so much character .

We were recommended this hotel by Travel Spirit International in Delhi and were not disappointed . This is a very small property of 9 rooms in the mountains – and such a great place to relax and to get away from it all . The food and staff is outstanding , always willing to help and please .It is situated in a lovely garden and in the morning so nice to hear all the birds singing away . This boutique hotel is very beautiful , and anyone travelling to Munnar , definitely worth a few nights stay , thank you so much to everyone at the hotel – you all make it the wonderful place it is , so much beauty and character. We loved every minute of it , it was just too short.

We were here as a part of a bird-watching itinerary. The location of the property with respect to views is nothing extraordinary but what it lacks in views it makes up in other essential areas as mentioned in the title. Spacious and spotlessly clean rooms with well-appointed furniture - large bathrooms with 24/7 hot water. Food is excellent - Do try their Beef and Duck Roast recipes. However, please do not choose Kerala Paratha which is made poorly. Go for roti or rice instead. Garden is small and full of birds and the rare Nilgiri Thrush also visits. However we were not so lucky with it. The manager is very polite and service is prompt. Free wifi is available and works well. All in all a good place to sit back and relax even if you are not into bird watching.

A hidden gem. A small hotel away from the main town. Friendly, attentive & helpful staff. Nice rooms & a beautiful garden to while away the time. We were in the area for a bird watching trip & if that's your thing, then you won't be disappointed. Don't be put off by the access road to the hotel & the raodworks generally around Munnar which were quite disruptive when we visited in Feb 20. Hopefully they'll be finished before too long.

In a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of Munnar. The bungalow style rooms here are clean and comfortable and have tea and coffee making facilities and overlook beautiful well-tended gardens full of shrubs and flowers which attract a lot of birds. The restaurant served tasty food and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed two nights at this hotel - the room was clean and spacious with great views. The grounds are beautifully maintained and good for local birds. The staff very welcoming and helpful and the food was delicious. Easy access to Munnar so you can enjoy the peace and quiet in the hills and the pace of the town. Would definitely stay here again.
