Shola Heaven Resort

For the past few months kanthalloor is becoming a destination for tourists apart Munnar. Marayoor is famous for the natural sandal forests and can seen en route to Kanthalloor. Kanthalloor is wild and wonderful and is a basket of fruits and vegetables.which includes varieties of Apple, Orange, Strawberry, Blackberry, Plums, Gooseberry, Egg fruits, peach & passion fruits,.etc..... This property Shola heaven is located on the lap of Anaimudi Shola. The tarred road ends here. The stay at shola heaven is wonderful and the staff members are highly cooperative. Food is average and you have to order it sufficiently earlier. Enough space for car parking and if needed they will arrange a Jeep trekking through Anaimudi shola to Top station and even a night ride through Chinnar Wild life sanctuary

we went there on 10th of this month we were around 14 numbers with kids.had all efforts to arrange a accommodation on the way to kanthaloor.really disappointed again when we heard that there is no room in shola heaven also.i called GM MR.ROBY THAMBI and explained our situation then he arranged a four bed room with extrabeds .our ladies and kids adjusted in that room with pleasure.not even a single room is available on that day in kanthaloor.everything was spot on that day with great breakfast childrens enjoyed a lot.ROBY managed things under control in that hectic day with two three big groups were staying.he charged us reasonably .atmosphere in the evenings is beyond words.a trip to shola added a feather on our great trip and stay at shola heaven. rooms are clean and toilets is neat and tidy with toiletries.salute to mr: roby for his great support and management skills.expecting to meet once again

The room was so great. But i wont say it about the service. Anyway the stay was calm and peaceful. They were under development..that may be the issue behind poor service. Food was nice and served in a grand manner especially the breakfast. Our kinds enjoyed the trip well. Mr. Jojo accompanied us to the nearby orchards where berries and apple are profuse.

The hotel sits in a great location staffs are friendly too. But the hotel lack maintenance no running hot water, waterline doesn't have pressure. Cleanliness is below average.The only highlight is good food.

I had visited this property while it was still under construction about four years ago, and had wanted to spend a couple of days there. But my stay there was a total disappointment, so much so, we stayed there only for one night and left early next morning. The service in the restaurant was extremely slow, and the food wasn’t very palatable. You eat it any way because by the time it gets served you are hungry enough to eat a horse.
