We paid around 600rs for a room and it was with a view. The staff is really helpful and friendly. They were really happy to help us with everything we needed. If you expect luxury at this price then you must be really stupid. The place is great at this price.

I booked this hotel since it was at a reasonable price during June peak season and closeness to Mall Road. However there is steep climb from hotel to reach Mall Road, hence would not recommend it for elders. Hotel rooms were not clean as what I expected due to the budget price and Bathroom was pathetic and smelly. This hotel need to work on cleanliness even if it is a budget hotel. The food was good which is a plus point along with the price.

There are pros and cons of every place but overall the experience of staying at this hotel was superb. Mr. Homanshu Khera is a very warm host and welcoming. We had booked a valley view room directly with him and transferred advance money for booking confirmation. Had no hassle upon reaching hotel. Reached before check in time and the room was made ready within an hour with brand new mattress, bed-sheets, pillows and blanket. View from room is good. Big window lets lot of sunlight in. The front desk person and helper boys are very good and serve you with a smile. The food is super delicious. Location is bang in the middle of Mall road, near Picture Palace chowk. Only let down is that the hotel is 2 stories below mall road. So you will have to do a bit of walking. Not too much though. Rooms need little improvement towards bathroom taps, shower etc. Overall, recommended place.

Very Very Bad position of hotel.... No communication is available.... I've booked this hotel for 3days via Yatra.com,but when I reached.... Terrible experience to reach the hotel..... So.. Within few hours I'hv check out frm this hotel & go for another far better one.

Well... First of all, we came to the hotel from Booking. We were lured by low price, fair reviews and a nice photo from the terrace. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were asked if we had the email from Booking because could not see my booking. Then, they were asking for a different rate that I had when I booked the hotel. Almost three time as much. Then, when it came to filling in the contless Indian forms, they ran out of toner in their printer and complained that my passport is badly printed. Well. The real problem was that the room was dirty, cold, we did not get any toilet paper (we're not Indian) and we did not get any towels either. Plus, the water was cold, the "geyser" did not work. On top of it, there was no sound proofing at all; we could hear the loud TV playing at all times from the reception, loud door shutting from the other rooms. Because my wife was sick and in pain, we try to sleep during the day, however, it turned out to be impossible due to the noise. I decided to cancel the rest of our booking via Booking.com and the hotel staff did not honour the cancellation. Booking staff called the boss and asked him to comply and he agreed, but the staff still did not agree to it. Well, enough is enough. I left after having paid a one day fee. I have not eaten at the hotel, so I can't tell anything about the food. It is a budget hotel ("palace"), I know, so if one is feeling adventurous, go for it. Otherwise, not recommended.
