Hotel Raghushree

Hotel Raghushree consists of two British-style family homes; build in the 1890s, which were located on their own private hill in Mussoorie. The red house you see is called Raghu Niwas and the grey house is called Madho Bhawan. They are named after the person who builds the house, Lala Raghumal Arya, and his father. Over a hundred years old, these houses have been lovingly restored to reflect their past glory. They still have the original wooden ceilings; some of the floors are the original stone and original Italian ceramic tiles on the walls. Raghu Niwas has 04 luxury suites or apartments-02 upstairs and 02 downstairs. Each one is 1250 sq. ft. in area, with a master bedroom, a smaller bedroom, 02 bathrooms, and a sitting room, i.e. each luxury suite can accommodate 04 guests. If the whole house is booked, Raghu Niwas can accommodate 16 guests at a time. Madho Bhawan has 04 deluxe suites and 02 deluxe double rooms. Each floor has 02 deluxe suites and 01 Room. Each Deluxe Suite is an 800 sq ft in area, with two interconnecting bedrooms with double beds. Each bedroom in the suite has an attached bathroom i.e. each suite can accommodate 04 guests. The deluxe rooms are 400 sq ft in area with an attached bathroom i.e each room can accommodate 02 guests. There is a glazed verandah in front of the first-floor rooms and a covered verandah in front of the ground-floor rooms. If the whole house is booked, Madho Bhawan can accommodate 20 guests at a time. The dining area for both houses is on the first floor of Madho Bhawan. There is a private walking path of about 100 meters connecting both houses. Both houses have a huge lawn and an unparalleled view of the Doon valley.
