We with my parents and 2 years old toddler visited the resorts this peak holiday season. The property is lovely and properly maintained as seen according to the bad covid hit. Pors: Big Clean and green decorated property Play area for kids Indoor games and pool Courteous staff Good Food and on-time Clean rooms Cons: If you do not have your own vehicle, the location could be challenging as it is pretty far away from the city, and like no shops around Outdoor restaurant space needs a lot of improvements Parking space could be a bit more improvised.

We spent the new years eve at Jal Mahal resort. The property is small but is the outdoors are neat. The outdoor restaurant is awesome and the food is good. Since we went on the new years eve, we expected some delays in the service but the hotel staff was professional and tried their best to take care of the customers. But that is one area of improvement for the Jal Mahal team. Also the rooms are not so clean and specially the bathrooms can be much better. Overall a nice resort with Value for money services , good staff, nice outdoors but below average rooms and scope of improvement in the dining services

Nice place for stay and very delicious breakfast. You might be wondering why did I give 2 star even though it's nice place for stay with awesome breakfast? Here is the answer: We had selected executive room with breakfast for myself, wife and small kid. As we were travelling via Mysure, we wanted to spend night there and take some rest. We reached hotel around 10:30 at night. We slept and next day morning, we were checking out after breakfast. They send a person to check the room and the person came saying Kettle is not working. However, we didn't get time to even plug in the kettle to check that is working fine or not. I conveyed same and they checked with their management. They concluded that it might be by someone else and we were not charged extra. But, it was very embarrassing situation for us. When I shared this experience with one of my friend, he mentioned that same thing happened with him before 2-3 years.

The Resort as such is very nice and clean, but the team there are highly uncompetitive to handle crowd. The day I landed, there was a marriage happening and obvious was crowded. As result I was not given a parking, while the booking mentioned as parking included. Hairdryer not available as standard, but requested one was not usable, the rooms are clean, but had broken wash room accessories, blocked sink and most important of all absolutely no flexibility in breakfast timings. when I requested for a late breakfast, the reply was a blunt "NO". To reach out to a manager to talk about the discomfort, it was 30 mins wait for me at the reception. I could not also cancel, as it was a advance payment at the time of booking. I finally decided to checkout changing the plan to another alternate location. Since I am a frequent traveler, I am generally used to hotels and resorts with better hospitality and flexibility. This was not the fact at this place. Hence a very poor rating for my side.

This hotel was recommended as top best stay at Mysore. As so we booked the hotel. Though the facility at the resort is good, but following are the main draw backs and why I wouldn't recommend 1. Even after the booking room at this restaurant. The management don't have a courtesy to call us and confirm the booking and arrival. We need to call multiple times. 2. I request for simple candles for the dinner as we are newly married couples. There was not response from the management. 3. Outdoor dinning was available but they didn't even mentioned in arrival and showed us the path to highest noisy indoor dinner hall with no cultured guests and staff who are busy in there own billing business. 4. After dinner was ordered. It arrived after 45-50 min and first only ordered food we brought without any serving plates and we kept requesting them, then no spoons, then we requested for sauce and salad was just a dream. 5. None of them served the food. They just kept the food on the table for the dogs to feed. 6. Besides, I observed that the plates kept outside the door upon room service we lying there from the day of check in to check out. 7. While booking it was offered that there would be free parking. But initially parking inside the resort was denied and then provided later in some corner without any dedicated parking space. 8. Towels and bedsheet we old and not replaced. 9. Only single quantity of shampoo and soap for a couple was offered for a couple and with no hand wash in the washroom. I wonder what nonsense is this. 10. Non of the staff in the dinning area speak kannada and give us the option to talk in Hindi or English only. 11. Morning breakfast complementary, but worst than night dinner. All food were prepared early morning and served cold and donuts were hard as stones. 12. Dinning tables we not cleaning regularly and dish plates were not cleaned properly. 13. They neither provided tissue paper for cleaning the plates too. Trip advisor plz visit the place anonymously and recommend the guests.
