Comfort Courtesy Par Excellence for Family Vacation

Our family recently had most comfortable and enjoying 4 nights stay at Hotel Arif Castles, Nainital. Exquisite comfort and delicious sumptuous food and beverages. The hotel also took excellent care of all the requirements of our 1 year 9 months little grandson. We must place our appreciation on record for the General Manager and his team of Concierge, Front Office, Room Service, F&B, House Keeping, who did not leave scope of deficiency at any corner. Additionally there must be lots of back office employees, with whom we may not have come in contact; they are also contributing to keep the clients well contented and satisfied. During our entire stay, even apart from us, we did not notice a single guest complaining on any count. Commendable. Service with Smile and Due Courtesies.

It was a short stay of only night. Our rooms upgraded, so may be my opinion will be biased. The staff was helpful, even out of way. My car got breakdown while reaching and hotel offered me to manage taxi and park my car safely. The service is quick n efficient. One should not miss food, its delicious.

The hotel is old. The heater stopped working in the middle of the night. The breakfast was okayish. We went when it was raining (along with flurries) so it was pretty cold and the heaters that they have are also pretty old. The views aren’t that great and you’re not too close to the Mall Road too( that’s a benefit too if you don’t like noise and pollution). It has toys and games for all age groups so children will enjoy!

I would like to give ZERO star to this hotel. I visited this hotel on Friday 12th March 2021 and checked out from the hotel on 15th March 2021 and mistakenly i forgot my Zara coat worth 5K in the hotel room which was a gift from my husband for my anniversary. Upon realizing that i left my coat in the hotel while doing unpacking, i called the landline number available on their sites and found that none of them are working. Somehow i managed to contact the hotel and asked them to courier my belonging back to me, on which they bluntly said that they dont have any of my belonging with them and courier service they dont provide. Upon requesting so many times, they called back and said that they dont have the coat and cant do anything now. This is one of the worst experience i would say. I have travelled many other countries and places in India and never ever faced such an issue, but with this hotel, despite of ignoring the bad linen and dirty bathrooms, i lost my precious stuff and ignorant and poor management. I would like to request all to think twice before visiting this hotel as the management is not friendly at all and just in case if you forget anything in the hotel room, you will loose it forever. Not to forget, during the covid time, there was no sanitization in the rooms, and they left the dirty clothes in the room, door knobs were dirty and broken bathroom handles.

I booked this hotel for 24 January with a hope of good stay.(As mention 4 star category) 1 . hotel is at very high Hight if you are not regular hill driver so may be chance you can meet accident. 2. Arif is showing they are proving balcony to every room. I uploaded the picture also you can see these are hardily 3*3 feet in dimension. 3. Room as no view only building view. You all can see attached hotel pictures. 4. Arif is far away from mall road approx. 3 km. due to parking issue you can not go in your car to mall road So you are depend upon hotel shuttle. This hotel having only one shuttle out of 60 hotel rooms. shuttle timing is 10am to 7pm. So you have to walk to mall road or every time you have to give 300 for pick and 300 for drop to hotel by local taxi. 5. Restaurant is so small only 10 dining table. When i went for dinner buffet it was full and some people is also in waiting. So i requested to manager to provide food in room. He simply denied then i complain to hotel manager he said you can take your food from restaurant and sit in reception waiting area. so much disgusting thing ever he suggested me. 6.I do not know how there are writing 4 star. it is simply 2 star property. 7. Front desk staff is very unprofessional . Please hire some good hotel management professional. NOT RECOMENDED STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK
