Well, I booked the place in a hurry, and was really worried about how the stay would be. But once I reached the property it was total bliss. The check-in was very smooth, room was neat and tidy. The staff was well behaved and very courteous. There were other families staying there but I had my own privacy with no disturbance as requested by me. The evening was very peaceful and calm. The hotel had arranged a bonfire for other guests and the staff invited me too. It was an amazing experience. The food was finger licking tasty. Especially the chicken curry was freshly cooked and just the best that I've ever had. Tried the Pahari raita too and though little spicy it was worth it. The owner of the property was also very professional and courteous and gave some time personally to each guest. Would definitely visit again soon with my family.

My experience is awesome. I come here with my family on 31 December and we celebrated new year in pangoot it's such nice and silent place.The weather is surprised new year morning suddenly snowfall started. Hotel monal inn is excellent in all services,there staff behavior is good,rooms are very clean and we live in a wooden room, price wise it's Worthy. Food are also tasty.they arranged a new year party,live music,bone fire tasty dinner and cake also a very huge celebration.we and our family enjoyed a lot..

Tried a hotel in Pangot for my visit. a new experience to have in just one day trip the place was located inside the Naina Devi Himalayan Birds Sanctuary. a beautiful place surrounded by beauty . location was not less than a paradise for nature lovers and for bird watchers. a place for friends for perfect weekend getaway with adventure treks and tours. just a minute walk away from nature, early morning getting a walk between the trees with birds is a must to do a thing.

Old property not properly kept. The hotel is under shortage of staff and same person doing the housekeeping nad janitor work is cooking food. The washrooms were not cleaned and had to get them cleaned in front of me to make sure they clean it peroperly and used tissues of previous visits were still lying on the floor. The food menu was short as they didn't had enough supplies thus ordered the only things they had raw materials for. The food was tasty however and no complaints on that front. Being close to nature comes with its own price. Got a leech stuck on my feet while sitting in the garden area. Thus if planning with family try to avoidn monsoons. The hotel don't have any parking and the paid parking is around 300 mtrs downhill. Roaming towards your car is a good excercise.

Had gone to Pangot on a birding trip and this was the first time I travelled in Uttarakhand on the day of Holi. This was the first week of March in 2018. Pangot no doubt is a beautiful place and a haven for bird lovers but this is one hotel which is best avoided. Here are the list of negatives. Mind you there are no positives about this hotel. Considering that we reached there on Holi, at around lunch time, the only hotel staff there was drunk. Second, this hotel does not have parking. You have to park your vehicle on the road from Nanital to Kunjakharak. Third, fooding facilities in the hotel are pathetic. We stayed here for two nights and had food at this hotel was only once, so you can imagine. The rooms are dirty, the washroom is dark. There were even insects in the washroom. This hotel should be avoided at all costs.
