La Sagrita

We have now stayed at La Sagrita each time we have been to Delhi. It is so lovely, quiet and welcoming. The staff are always on hand to give help and advice and it is so convenient and safe to walk out to the local parks, shops and restaurants. We have also made really good use of the Hotel driver Ravi. He has picked us up at the Airport, dropped us off at the train station, picked us up on our return and driven us around the sights of Delhi waiting patiently at each one. The prices are so reasonable as well for such a great service .The rooms are also really pleasant with such comfortable beds. We love staying there and will return next time we are in Delhi.

My wife and I stayed at La Sagrita overnight on our way from Delhi airprot to Agra. The Chairman Mr. Ahuja was very attneitve to our speical requests and waited for our late arrival in the early morning after our flight was delayed. The hotel arranged for an aiprot pickup and an early taxi to take us to the nearby train station in time for our express train to Agra. Mr. Ahuja also arranged for an early breakfast before the usual opening time. Our room was small but pleasant and clean. This is a nice hotel away from the noise of central Delhi in an area with embassies and residential housing but only 10 minutes or so to Connaught Circle. Best is that the price is much more reasonable than the big hotels in Connaught Circle that are not as personable.

A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of staying for a few nights at this little hotel in Delhi and we were very pleased with it. The hotel is small and all the staff are very friendly and attentive. It is spotlessly clean and in a very quiet residential area of New Delhi with no traffic noise. We were welcomed with a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers and a personal welcoming note from the owner in our rooms and all the requests we had were quickly and professionally dealt with. For example, one member of our group accidentally forgot a pair of earrings in their room and got in touch with the hotel the day after we had left. They reassured us that they had found the earrings and kept them safe for us for over a week, until we were able to go pick them up when we got back to Delhi at the end of our trip. We also very much appreciated their tipping box at reception. This is to discourage giving personal tips only to the hotel staff you meet and ensures a fairer splitting of the tips amongst all the people who work at the hotel, also the ones who do such a great job ensuring the smooth running of the hotel "behind the scenes". It also took away the stess of constant expectation of tips we sometimes felt in some of the bigger hotels we have stayed during our trip. Thank you very much for making our stay in Delhi so pleasant, we are very grateful!

Excellent boutique hotel in the centre of New Delhi. clean rooms in the upscale sunder nagar area ( 2-5 km from major tourist attractions like India gate, parliament, old fort ...). Decent Food spread with a mix of Indian and European cuisine.

Great food, service, room, temperature control, quiet, landscaping, walkability near zoo and Basti Nizamuddin dargahs and Humayun gigantic beautiful memorial. Street side excellent restaurants nearby and easy instant taxi availability. My only complaint is noisy doors on closing
