My room was lovely, with a huge bed and decent shower. Breakfast was quite good too - not masses of choice, but it was tasty and adequate. All the staff I encountered were helpful and professional. Despite the hotel being in a busy location it was very peaceful.

Best part of staying here was a lovely man at the concierge (whose name I unfortunately can't remember) who was very friendly, helpful and spoke perfect English. On my last day he went out of his way to help me try get an Ola to the airport, but when that got cancelled twice he managed to get a driver to come get me but at a reduced price. I stayed here at the start and end of a tour with Intrepid. First time we stayed our room were average I think for what you'd expect at the price point, relatively clean and comfortable, but the shower wasn't very good - either no water pressure or hot water. Second time we stayed we were given a room on the top floor which was quite a bit nicer. Room was larger and bathroom was more modern and water pressure and hot water were good. Also had the only shower in our whole trip which had a fully enclosed shower lol. The location is pretty convenient and easy walking distance to the metro, but can be a little tricky to find a first.

We liked the location of this hotel. At first it may seem off putting as it’s by the Karol Bargh market and a busy shopping area, it’s true to stay we did not see many other tourists! However, it was very quiet (especially compared to some locations we stayed in) the rooms seemed well soundproofed. The room and bathroom were small but adequate for a short stay. A little tired but once we had travelled more we realised, upon our return there, that they were actually not so bad! Good tea, coffee and water provisions. Room serviced daily if you hand your key in and say it’s to be serviced. Quick service if you needed anything. Will arrange day tours. drivers and airport shuttles. Also has a luggage store. The towels were well passed their use by date, the linen the first stay was also in need of replacing, although the second time it was much better. Hot water was also an issue, although it’s meant to be available most of the time, we did not get it! There appears to remain an issue with serving food and their website is incorrect when it refers to the rooftop area, which has been closed for some time. They do serve breakfast but only until about 9am, in a room and not a landing. There was a good selection or you can choose individual items. There are still mattresses in communal areas which was a pity as these are nice places, which we never saw used. They will do room service for breakfast too.

Convenient location for Karol Bugh metro station. Rooms are basic, but include free wifi, a safe, fridge, tea, apparently air con but we didn't need it. There was hot water at times, but never when I wanted it. Apparently if you asked they will turn it on for you. Beds in our first room were uncomfortable with springs poking through, but when we showed them this in the morning they moved us to a different room.

Strong advice : don't use the safe box to put money inside. I would recommand not using the safe........ Strong smell of cold cigarette Noisy due to a poor isolation. Many room don't have any windows.
