The Ambassador has truly been my home away from home in the lady years of my stays there. The housekeeping and front desk and the breakfast team deserve special mention. The new GM seems to have grasped the strengths of this place. The Taj hospitality shines through and it remains a go to place for me in Delhi.

Taj....a home not a Hotel Checked into Ambassador Hotel, New Delhi on the 5th of March, 2022 and stayed at this Heritage property for 5 nights. Loved the hotel, the location, the food, the courteous and hospitable, service oriented Team and the calm , quiet and quaint room. Traveling, suddenly has become so rare amidst these pandemic days, but when the situation came that our trip to Delhi had become a necessity, we chose The Ambassador, basically because it was a Taj property, because TAJ is not a Hotel....it's home for all those like me ,who swear by TAJ. Mr. Sathish Rana , Manager Front office coordinated our booking and made sure that our stay was extremely comfortable. Bishu part of the front office team ensured that not only us but each and every guest who walked in were taken care of and made sure that the needs of the guests were attended too. Her calm and quiet demeanour and the assuring smile always put you at ease even though there was a problem and she made sure that whatever the issue was it could be sorted in her own calm and composed manner. Ms. Bishu is a real feather in the cap of Mr. Sathish Rana's Front office Team. The food at the The Yellow Brick Road is so good. The ambience is great too, the place is informal and has a menu that suits every pallette. Mr. Prakash the Head of the service team made sure that every need of the guests were catered to. He made sure that service was perfect and on time. A special mention to Miss. Apoorva Sharma, she is a super star in the Team of Mr. Inderpal Singh Bedi, the Food and Beverage Manager. Apoorva walks calmly around taking note of your requirements with quick and timely service. She observes, watches and listens and you don't have to ever repeat your requirements at breakfast; you reach your table and as you are seated, your choices start coming in one by one. I really am awestruck with her hospitality, she certainly will go miles in the hospitality industry. She is the feather in the cap of Mr. Inderpal Singh Bedi's service team. I wouldn't be able to forget Apoorva for the way she reached out to each one of us and made sure that we were at home and Mr. Prakash and she really held it up together completely. Kudos to Apoorva Sharma and Prakash. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Though the hotel is a very old property, the house keeping team is really working so hard and ensure that the hotel is pristine and clean. We had ne fear about the pandemic or getting infected when we stayed at the Ambassador because the hotel was sanitized and the house keeping team made sure the place was clean. I wish to thank the Team of Ambassador, New Delhi for making our stay memorable. Would love to go back to the Ambassador when I visit Delhi.
