Ganesh , Kapil and Ishwar , Chef Praveen attended us very well. The hospitality is unmatched ! Looking forward to more such visits . The room is very classy ! Also the food is too yummy 😋 thanks The Taj for treating us so well !

Taj exemplifies luxury and service. I am typing this sitting on the patio in front of 101 and compelled to write this especially because of the great service the past 2 days of my stay.
A special thanks to Hitesh from front desk for always being so kind and friendly, apart from being a great exec.
Anyone with a kid knows how exhausting travelling with a year old can be so a warm thanks also to executives at the restaurant - Kapil, Ganesh, Rambilash and the chefs Parveen and Ishwar for taking really good care of her.
I have always said its rhe people who set any business apart and Taj is no exception!

I stayed in taj gateway with my family in April. I was amazed by the hospitality provided by
Parveen Rambilash, Amit ,nandan Ganesh and pritam from the front desk. Parveen and his team served us with delicious meals and ensured that it was customised as per our needs. Can’t thank them enough for their hospitality. I had a great time !!
Not what I Expected

I had very high hopes for Taj DamDama, especially from my relatives who visited last year. But to my surprise, I am not at all a very delighted customer after checking out. There are a few things that made me happy but there are a few things that made me disappointing.
Things that turned me off:-
1. While Check-in, there is no car valet service, you have to park your own vehicle. Something which you dont expect from a Brand like Taj.
2. During Check-in, Mr. Ashish and another person told me that you have only breakfast included in my package, whereas I had Breakfast + 1 meal in my package. They waited for me to check my emails and after a few minutes, they said its ok. This was not a very welcoming experience I wished for.
3. After checking into the room, we found out the door of Room 209 was not working properly and was getting jammed frequently, we literally locked ourselves in, until I called out the front desk. Later on, they changed the room to 222. I gave the hotel a heads-up, that I will be traveling with an infant, and the hotel should check basic things like door, etc before the guest checks in and not when the guest checks in.
4. The hotel is not well maintained and you could see the dried leaves furling around the property and a major part of the property is under renovation which I was made aware in advance.
Good things/experience.
1. Mr. Ishwar and Mr Rambarish are excellent staff at the restaurant Buzz, Sian which really made us happy. Big Thanks to Mr. Ishwar for nice arrangement & decoration for my wife's birthday as part of the Unique Dining Experience and for sending the dinner to the room as my 3-month-old baby started crying. Big thanks to Mr. Ishwar for being so courteous every time we went for Coffee, Breakfast, and dinner.
