I have just recently returned from a trip to India as part of a 10 person group. We stayed at the Golden Grand three times during this trip. Two one night stays and one two night stay.I stayed in a twin share room with my friend. The standard of the twin rooms seemed to vary as each time we stayed we had a different room. The first room was missing a mini bar and snack facility.The other two times the rooms had these. Overall the beds were very comfortable and pillows good. I would like to say however the towels and bathmats need a little attention. In particular the bathmats. Each time we stayed they were frayed and old. The room service was good and the service in the restaurant was good, in particular , Happy Singh was wonderful and provided great service when we arrived early after a long flight while we were waiting for our room to be prepared. The bottom foyer onto the street does not have air conditioning only some portable ones and is extremely hot if you are there waiting for transport. They were also happy to store some things for us whilst we were on our trip.The hotel is a little out of the tourist areas, however has good parking for buses and close access to metro train.

overall the experience was ok,the service was nice. the rooms we were given was spacious. the towels were changed only when we asked for. the TV didnt had much channels and same time wifi would get expired everytime if you see a video for a minute. please update yourself with TV and WIFI.

Hotel rooms were barely OK... No amneties to talk off.. Frayed and torn and stained from past use... Yucky towels... Small rooms.... The staff were very friendly in all areas... That's the only plus point... Not good for tourists or general visitors... Breakfast was very ordinary... Though Happy Singh in the restaurant was very responsive and friendly guy.... The staff is an asset rest of the hotel needs a serious revamp...... Location also not very user friendly.... Noisy area... Totally avoidable if possible.

Pros : - Location : city center. well not exactly, but its close to the industrial areas and thanks to the metro,its connected very well to everywhere in Delhi. - Staff : The support staff at the entrance - the front desk, the security, the restaurant staff,housekeeping staff are friendly and decent. - food : breakfast buffet is not an extensive spread, but quality is not compromised. Room service food is also surprisingly good. Cons: - Location : in a micro scale, this property in not exactly located in a scenic backdrop. Getting to this place is an absolute pain thanks to the horrible traffic on the road right in front of it. To make it worse, food joints close to this place except for a dunkin donuts and a KFC ar not worth it. - Staff : Unlike the other departments, the reception staff (seated on the 1st floor, not ground floor) are pretty apathetic and off putting. - Rooms : Ideally a booking for 2 adults in 1 room means 4 bottles of water instead of 2, 2 sets of toiletries and towels and actually a spare key. DID NOT HAPPEN HERE. - WIFI - ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! when it connects it works decently fine. but when it doesn't, it just doesn't.. - TV Channel selection is disappointing as usual. Overall, a very unsatisfactory stay, felt conned and almost cheated, NOT recommended. Plenty of other options to choose from the same neighborhood.
