I had a lovely stay here. Hotel is located at very prime location. Airport is just 5 min drive. Rooms are spacious with all modern facilities. Food is tasty and reasonable too. Quick service. Thanks to The Lohmod Team

It was the last night of our holiday and the room was booked by our tour operator. Room was very tired. Walking along the corridor to our room was a fright. There was no toilet paper and we had to ring down three times before we were brought any. The evening meal was adequate and we were advised which were the spicy ones. Breakfast was buffet style with all Indian food, we had the continental breakfast which was a bowl of cereal and no offer of anything else.

We decided to stay here towards the end of our trip as it is close to the airport and looked alright for the price. There were a few bad reviews already, but there were also some good ones. So we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Bad idea. The place looked alright when we checked in, and being really tired we didn't look too closely at the rooms at first, but rather dropped our stuff and went for dinner. The restaurant is adequate and we had a good meal. When we went up to our room for the night, we noticed that there were spots of mud on the bed (on the underside of the duvet so it wasn't immediately obvious) and my mother's bed had make-up all over the sheets from the last persons face when they had slept there. The floor was dusty and had hair all over it and so we couldn't walk around with bare feet at all. The room was much colder than any other hotel we had stayed at and the traffic noise was very loud, despite their claim on Booking.com that the room was sound-proofed. We them went down to the front desk and complained. They seemed confused and we had to take them to the room to show them what the problems were. The hotel staff asked us to view other rooms to see if we would be happier in another room, but only the fourth room they showed us was ok. We still made them clean it again before accepting it. I know this sounds fussy and we are not people who like to make a scene at all, but every room had dust and hair on the floor (you could even feel the grit beneath your shoes when you walk) or they were hastily trying to clean new rooms while showing them to us... these the staff were putting on damp sheets which was also unacceptable. Yes, they are clean but not something you want to sleep with! We would have walked out and found another hotel but they had made us pay upfront when we checked in and it was 10 pm by the time we had sorted out a new, cleaner room. Anticipating a big argument if we asked for a refund, we settled for the new room and left the next day. Besides the above, the bathroom has an open plan shower with an electricity socket within splash range of the shower stream. We did not shower here for fear of our safety. I would avoid this hotel at all costs! It is not worth the 3 stars it has and is not acceptable. If you do decide to use this hotel make sure you inspect the room before you pay, turn the sheets over thoroughly to check that the dirt isn't just concealed and make sure you are 100% satisfied before you pay.
