After travelling around India for several weeks we were so impressed with the professionalism, warmth and friendliness of staff...until we got to this place. We entered reception and gave staff a smile and cheery "good evening". We were met with blank stares and a curt "do you have a booking here?". I said we did and produced a voucher from the travel agent. They looked at it and said they had no record of the booking. We were told to sit and wait. Eventually they came back and said the booking was good...still no smiles. They appeared to be quite angry. They demanded our passports and that I fill in and sign the register book. No pleases, no thank yous, no smiles. Eventually shown to our room. What a mess. There was mould in several areas. The wall sockets were falling out. The shower head had bits of ceiling missing around it. The shower leaked out into the bathroom. Only 1 towel was provided. We were supposed to get a complimentary breakfast - we didn't. There was supposed to be free wifi - there wasn't. And there was loud thumping and some kind of electronic screeching all through the night...so no sleep. Next morning we noticed water had leaked out all over the hallway from a room a few doors down. New staff on who were just as rude and unfriendly as the staff the night before. So glad to leave. Seriously...DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL!

I was drawn in by the nicer than average rooms for budget accommodation in Delhi. What I got was food poisoning and an effort to be charged for my meal. It is hard to find good, budget hotels in Delhi but this isn’t one. Thanks for ruining a few days in Delhi because your lazy staff can’t wash their hands. Many of the staff were nice, but totally unhelpful beyond being friendly. I repeat, they tried to charge me for a meal that has kept me near a toilet for 16 hours. It is so easy to avoid this sort of thing, but they can’t get their act together. DONT STAY HERE
  • WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE

I am a frequent traveler who has stayed in a wide variety of hotels and hostels, but never before have I ever had an experience so horrendous. To start off, the bed sheets and pillows were filthy to the point where it felt unsanitary to be sleeping in those beds. The heating unit was broken and it was a very cold night on the night of my stay, and on top of that there is only hot water running in the showers for two hours per day. What made this the worst experience ever by far though was the absolute greed and disgusting behavior exhibited by the hotel management. My sister and I were offered a stay at the hotel by a representative of another nearby place and quoted a rate of about 6000RUP. Given that it was nearly midnight and everything else was taken (we also had a very early flight the next morning), we reluctantly took the offer. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were made to pay BEFORE we went to the room, and when we got there, a little bit of research taught us that we had been charged more than double what the hotel should have costed. Once we spoke to the manager, he told us there was nothing that could be done and even admitted that the man in the first hotel was receiving a COMMISSION to send us to this dirt hole hotel. The manager and security guard were laughing at the exasperation of my sister and I as we tried to get our money back. THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM THAT TARGETS FOREIGNERS. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

Stay away from this hotel or risk being scammed. We were charged double the price of what is normally charged for a room because we were clearly tourists. The owner of the hotel refused to work with us and give us any discount when we brought the issue to his attention. Also, the sheets were not clean and had an unpleasant smell and stains. The building only has hot water at certain times and does not have heat. We did not sleep because the rooms were so cold. The door to the room did not lock properly either. Overall, the place is dirty, uncomfortable, and not worth any price.
